Just beginning on this ride....

Well, the title of this says just beginning on this ride, but The Man and I have been married almost 8 years and have sort of been on this journey the whole time - only now getting started on the action part.

We had an iui on 10/20 which puts me at 14 days since then - I took a test this morning and it was negative (although it was a digital one and I am reading that they might be less sensitive?), so am considering myself out this time. I have been mildly cramping all day and while I generally don't cramp at all until AF is here in full force, I am counting myself out this month.

Trying not to feel too down about it since this was try #1 - but having a hard time with it.

Any advice on staying sane?

It's hard to stay positive but you're not out till AF shows!

Thank you! I have a blood test on Wednesday so I suppose that will tell me one way or the other and I will do my best to stay sane until then!
