My very back tooth has just chipped - its not very bad, quite small and it doesnt really hurt.

Ive got an appointment on Monday, but do I need to go sooner now?

Also, does anyone know what the dentist is likely to do?? Im meant to be having a filling on the next tooth along and I was already so nervous about that :(

If it's as you say, not too badly damaged they will build it up with amalgam, it will require prep though, the same as what they do for a filling.

It will be fine, you'll be all localled up and not feel a thing :) :hugs:

if it's not sore it'll be fine to leave it until Monday and your dentist will be able to repair it as you are getting a filling done in the tooth beside it they'll be able to freeze up the 2 teeth if necessary - some small repair jobs do not need frozen as they don't need any drilling

I broke my molar on a piece of unpopped corn whilst eating popcorn and half of it broke off. The denist just filled it with amalgam
