just diagnosed with cin 2 (moderate cervical dysplasia)

Sorry to hear about all your problems. I have been diagnosed with severe dyskaryosis but the hospital won't do anything until i have seen a consultant as i have previously suffered with endometriosis and they are worried that if they treat the dyskariosis i will be left completely infertile. I have to wait until 16th Septemeber until my appointment....Soooo scared and worried. I feel as though i am going to have to choose between having children or risk getting cancer.

But i have heard of people having treatment and going on to having children normally with no issues, so keep your chin up all.

Hope you all get sorted very soon.

I am just recovering after a LEEP conization. My gyno was well aware that we are TCC. She recommended that I go to a specialist for a second opinion. He took a look and told me to get the LEEP done before continuing TCC. I was moderate/severe dyskyrosis. I was also devastated. I understand where you are coming from and I initially didn't want to do the procedure. However, the thing that changed my mind is that I could end up not bein there to raise my child. I have my check up at the end of last week. I ovulated yesterday I believe. Still waiting for my three high temps to confirm. I was worried about being able to produce CM. No problem for me. I had all sorts of ewcm in my undies yesterday. The other thing I worried about was a scarring on the cervix causing an irregularity and blockage in the cervix opening. I believe my gyno will be looking at that during my follow up. I have missed two cycles of TCC during all of this. It made me very depressed, but I feel that I did the right thing.
Lots of

I had severe dysplasia last year. Had a leep done. Doc said he wanted me to wait until my six month check up to start ttc. You need to take care of yourself first don't leave it be.

It us the scariest thing in the world I'm sorry your going through it but your not alone. Pm me if you have any questions.

Oh yeah...and I had a yearly check up every single year...went from nothing to severe in one year get your yearly's girls!

I have cin 2 myself and I was diagnosed Dec 2012 my dr. Seems to think it's best for me to wait to get a leep done since she new we were going to ttc soon we just started ttc lady month but in her opinion she said she didn't want to cause any scar tissue that could make things more difficult for me ttc so I just go every 6 months to a year to make sure not progressing. I have military drs though so maybe these other lady's drs know something mine don't? I need to make an appt with mine to let her know we are ttc now. Hope this helps. Good luck!
