Just turn 9 months and still not crawling

Emily is almost 9 months old and she only rolls in one direction, she can't go from lying down to sitting and she doesn't crawl yet. She can push herself backwards across the floor and she will spin around to get something she isn't suppose to have:haha: I am not that concerned about it because I know very soon I will be missing these days. She has reached all her other milestones.

oh gosh Isabella is not crawling either, she complains way too much when on tummy. But she made first two steps last night because she wanted to grab my glass of wine :) Your LO might never crawl, some babies skip this all together. Have you tried standing him up?

Megan wasnt crawling or even army crawling at 9mo. She would scoot around in a circle but that was it. She wasnt sitting up from laying down either. Between 9-10 mo (forget exactly when - I wrote it down somewhere) she learned to army crawl, go from laying to sitting, pulling up on furniture all within a 2 week period. By 10 1/2 mo she was crawling vs. army crawling & just starting to cruise furniture. Now she's pulling up on everything all the time - will not sit down unless she's praciticing going from standing to sitting. She's crawling so fast I cant keep up with her. SHe's cruising without fear - and trying to get into everything!!!

They will crawl/walk/ etc soon enough. Enjoy your peace!!! Once they are on the move everything gets crazy!! My house looks like a tornado hit it & all I do is pickup after her!

Also - one of my daycare kids didnt crawl til 15mo at least (cant remember exactly when) He was a very late walker as well. His parents were very worried about it - but there was nothing to worry about. He developed compeletly fine - very coordinated & you would never guess that he was the kid who was content just to sit forever & no desire to get up and go.
