That girl from America who escaped not that long ago was taken when she was very young. What was her name again?

She was taken when she was 11 and was kept for 18 years. Not a nice background to her story though

If the parents did accidently kill her though (lets say an OD) the twins would have been there when they were getting rid of the body wouldnt they (hate saying that it makes me feel sick but cant think of a better way of putting it) but Im sure they wouldnt have actually killed the other 2 so they couldnt tell anyone iykwim? Guess they would just have banked on them being too young to tell anyone or remember x

they were too little to remember, or they could of been asleep? Even if she was dead (hate to say it ) they could of easily just carried her to the bathroom/another room so the twins could see and put her body in a bag.. By the time they could say proper things the twins wouldn't of remember it anyway!

I guess the twins would be too young or asleep.

I know everyone reacts differently to the loss of a child but the fact that they didnt pull the twins close always made me wonder. They travelled alot to the US and pope (i think) but i dont think the twins went with them.

I wouldnt ever let my kids out of my sight if one was taken

There wasnt a massive age gap though was there...if someone did indeed get into the apartment and they were in bed, they wouldnt have looked alot different age wise x

I agree with this, I have never let anyone look after Amy. From what I have read she doesnt really seem the 'maternal' type anyway Was there not rumours that Gerry wasnt the Dad either? Know thats probably aload of rubbish, but makes you wonder doesnt it x

I won't be buying the book! I don't leave the kids at all we live right opposite a pub yet would never go ther and leave the kids and I can see my front door from pub no idea how th could leave them kids x

Hmm, something like that tho thats been carried on for this many years, they would of said from that day on 'well you took maddie lastnight when we woke up we saw u taking her away' its something they would of kept saying so prob would remember x

im not sure what to make of the maddie case and i bet we will never know the full truth. i wont be buying the book but i dont really read books.

i cant stand her or her husband! i think its disgusting that she wrote a book. its their fault that poor girl was taken (in my opinion) id never leave my child in a hotel while i went out for dinner! they are lucky all their children werent taken

this might sound horrible but i hope shes dead because i dread to think what shes been thru. altho she could of been taken by a woman who just wanted a baby and is being looked after which would be "good" but i doubt it.
