Thats exactly the point her story is too set in stone and she seems to know too much about the abduction for it to seem real to me xx
Gerry said they didn't give them anything at all. Then changed it to say he wasn't going to comment. Then Maddie's grandad said that the children WERE given Calpol that night to help them sleep. I don't think you can really accidentally OD on Calpol though. Who knows
I dont get why he said they werent going to omment, and then didI imagine you can OD on calop as its paracetamol xx
They said they would always co-operate with the police in any queries they had, yet when they were interrogated they refused to comment on over 40 questions that they were asked. And you could OD on Calpol but not by accident surely? It only contains a small amount of paracetemol so I would guess you'd have to take quite a lot of it.
Plus paracetamol overdose doesn't cause immediate death ... it's a rather nasty, long drawn out, death by liver failure.
Personally I think it's more likely that she met with an accident whilst alone in the apartment and was found some time later (too much later to allow for pretending it had just happened and calling for an ambulance and when the fact that her parents had been absent was obvious).
If that happened then either her parents panicked and stupidly hid her body or there was some other reason why they didn't want her to undergo a post mortem - if the latter, then a lot of people point to a statement made by Dr Gasper, which makes for very disturbing readinghttps://thegaspersstatement.blogspot.com/
I dont really understand that statement![]()
Dr Gasper's statement gives me the chills.![]()
I don’t think that had anything to do with Maddie or the case at all personally, they don’t really seem to be clear about anything, or say why or how they knew they were talking about Maddie xx

I think it's more a case that this conversation (and Yvonne Martin's statement) might provide a reason as to why someone might not want a child who had accidentally died being examined too closely?

Do you think that there was some sort of sexual abuse?
Out of all the adults on that holiday, including the McCann's, none of them can be clear on what happened that night. Some say the children were checked ever hour, others say every half hour, others say every 15 minutes, for example. It seems odd that they were all in the same place yet all their statements are all so conflicting
I know its a bit off topic, but reading Dr Gaspers statement, am I right thinking that the parents allowed other parents- men, to bath their children?![]()

Yes, they would take it turns. As in tonight you would bath all the children, tomorrow night I would bath all the children. Or at least that is what I understood from it
