Kate McCann releasing a book...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUcVncYr6xc

This is for Nut_Shake, it isnt very clear but you can hear it :flower:

I bought the book today, and will read it any time I get spare when we got to Disneyland Paris. I didnt think I would but I am going to, because this whole case has me curious, it will only take me a couple of days so if anyone wants it after just send me a pm, and I will send it on and then if someone else wants it pm me your address and we can keep on passing it on, that is a few less books sold :winkwink:

Tasha, would you mind lending me the book please? I want to read it but I don't want to pay anything towards their mortgage

That's good of you hun! I'd like to read it too if that's ok....I did originally write that it'd infuriate me but curiousity gets the better of me & I've read a lot of outakes online anyway so may as well read the whole thing.

Great idea Tasha! When I've finished mine if anyone wants it then I'll pass it on, well lend it! lol :flower: I'm pretty close to finishing it.

ETA: I added lend it as I may get my money back if it all turns out to be lies  (cheapskate)

Of course hun, I will pm you for your address as soon as I am done  That is exactly why I am offering it about, I dont want them to get any more money if I can help it :haha:

Sam only good of me because of the above :haha: I think it will make me angry too, but I have to read it, iykwim? SOrta like this thread, lots angers me, makes me sad or even scared but I just have to keep on reading

Does anyone remember someone mentioning on this thread that on the night Madeleine disappeared a private flight took off from Praia de Luz, with an acquaintance of Gerry's on it?

Can't stop thinking about that! Gonna see if I can find out more.

I read on here it was a senior politician, not sure how true that is though

I darent lend anyones book, you should see the state of them when I've finished

A source said: 'On the way back, Kate was in tears. She cried the whole way home and just kept on saying "I want it all to be over".'

I find this SUCH a weird statement if she did say it. Surely it's NEVER going to be over, even if they did find out what happened to her - so to me that's implying 'over' means they get found out.

Pretty useless as it's only someone saing she said it but would be interested to see if she's said this on tape anywhere.

Well I may lend it out with a few food smudges in the shape of baby fingers :haha: She likes to help me turn pages. So it's all good

The one thing that I can say about the book is that it can only do more good than it can harm. If it raises more money to continue searching for her and puts Maddy's face out in the public eye again that is great.

I am glad that you mum's on here are being sensitive and cautious to what you post on here concerning this case. Even if this lady (Kate) has made the biggest mistake of her life -surely people can forgive her and support her pleas to find her little girl? It is easy to get caught up in who is to blame and lose sight of what is important.

I came across an article that has a positve outlook for the book:

The article is on canidoit - Just type in Kate McCann in the search bar.

I cannot post the direct link on here.

ERM...... NO
For me, I will never forgive what her and her husband (the smarmy git) did. They made a conscious decision to leave their children open to danger at the very least.
Yes, I would love to find Madeleine, but I will never ever forgive her or support her

I never really understood the whole private flight thing, so if anyone has any links to the info on that, I'd be very grateful! Maybe Gerry's missing holdall was on that flight.......???

I've been reading through this thread for the last couple of days, and it has made fascinating reading. I was always disgusted by the way they defended their neglect of their children, but having read a lot of the information posted and linked in this thread, I'm now convinced that the McCann's role was even more sinister.

There was an interview on RTE that I watched online today here.
https://www.rte.ie/player/#v=1098327
The McCann's are on from 1:16. There's one really weird thing that Kate says when talking about the window in the bedroom. (From 1:38) She's says, 'I'm not lying about that'. But she doesn't say
I'm not lying about that
she says
I'm not lying about that

So what else is she lying about? :growlmad: Maybe something and nothing, as I'm not exactly approaching the interview with positive feelings toward the couple, but still, that really stood out as dodgy to me.

Still watching the video btu I've paused it for a moment.
I'm at the bit where Kate is talking about when she went to check on the kids and couldn't find Maddie. She says when she saw the window open she "just knew" then carries on to say when she walked over to he window she had no idea what she would find.
She contradicted herself straight away.

Has anyone else noticed also..when they were talking about how they met and their memories of Maddie, Gerry seemed quite happy and relaxed, but as soon as the holiday was mentiond Gerry's face changed and he appeared angry. It's as if he's worried she's going to slip up and say the wrong thing.

Scroll down to the picture of Kate & Gerry. Kate looks distressed for once. She is also wearing the trousers that the dogs were alerted to the 'scent of death' on....with the cuddle cat right next to them...which also alerted the dogs.

Wouldn't suprise me if something had just happened cos Gerry looks upset for once too.

Totally agree. I have no sympathy for them whatsoever, this was their fault so they can deal with the guilt.

I really hope they do find Maddy though, and find out what actually happened.

I also picked up on the fact they said it was a 45 second walk but im pretty sure i read on a link on here that Kate was gone 10 minutes before she came running back out screaming she had been abducted?

Krugel added: "After I conducted my investigation I gave the police a map pinpointing the spot I think Madeleine is. And I handed over a 2,000 word report on what they should do next.
"I said sniffer dogs should be brought in to start the search. But I warned that this alone was not enough as dogs are only a success in missing person hunts three out of four times.

Oh right, thought Kate and Gerry said that it was THEIR idea to get the dogs in???

This is explained in the book. That man was full of shite. A magic machine that uses DNA to locate a body? I don't think so. Logic could tell anyone a likely place for her body to be buried would be the beach. You're right though they look upset - too close for comfort perhaps?

This thread must be showing in google results now, it was only a matter of time before their "followers" joined and said sOmething.

Read the evidence, how can a book do more good than bad?! Especially when she is quoting the evilness that she is.
