Kate McCann releasing a book...

There's a lot of sheepism that goes on in society. People expect to be spoon fed and take everything they read in the mainstream media as gospel, instead of doing their own research (obviously not everyone). Most storys have two sides, but only one only ever gets published in the main papers and on the news etc.

I don't even know if sheepism is a word, but that's how I'd describe it.

Ive gone down a dark path tonight, Madeleine has lead me to Jonbenet Ramsay and then somehow onto Brice Taylor and Cathy O Brien i am literally speechless.

Gerry Mccan creeps me out and I wouldnt be surprised if he is part of some Illuminati/Freemason sect.

I like sheepism :D

Do you think justice will ever be done for Maddie?

Honestly no.

I think if I was that bloke who thought I knew where she is buried, I would go and dig it up myself to try and get that justice.

I really hope so. Part of me thinks we will never know but another part of me says maybe they will crack, or new evidence will come to light - something they simply can't talk themselves out of (although how the cadevar dogs findings weren't probed further I really don't know), or the case will be reopened, or a body will be found. Maybe even the twins will grow up knowing something and will eventually speak out, long shot I know:shrug:

I really don't know how they sleep at night, something has to give at some point. Whether it's tomorrow or 25+ years from now. I don't know how anyone could take something like this to the grave. Surely the guilt would completely destroy you before then.

I saw something that said about him being charged with trespassing. Try to do the right thing and it backfires cos obviously it gets too 'close' to the McCanns:nope:

Dragonfly to answer your question I honestly don't think Maddie will get justice. I doubt they'll ever find her body or not in our lifetime anyway and I really don't think the McCanns will ever feel remorse and confess.

There was a boy the went missing at a bus stop years ago,it was only recently that they got a break in the case and found his remains and someone was charged.it does happen so there is a small bit of hope

yes he was done for trespassing. Didnt they try and stop him looking anyway? I wonder what he has found out as he spent so much on the case.

oh and if someone had good evidence they thought Maddie was burred in my garden I would let them dig and see. Would want my garden put back together after if she was not there. But I wouldnt be able to rest myself knowing there could be a child's body out there everyone is looking for.

Me too Dragonfly. I wonder why someone wouldnt allow it, the only three reasons I can think of are 1) they know what is there and dont want it found 2) being warned not to 3) money

Now why does the article mention Casa Liliana (Murat's place)???? Hmmmmmm this just gets more and more complex. Perhaps it's possible that Murat WAS involved - after all he and Gerry did know each other allegedly but pretended not to - and he could be an accomplice. Or the McCann's could have buried her there to blame Murat for whatever reason, maybe as he was arguido anyway or they may have moved her there AFTER the search ws already made on his property. Whichever way it was it is unbelieveable that it won't be looked into...

Isnt it weird how they turned down help from psychics and refused to go with some leads? I know not everyone would believe in psychics but at that point if that was my kid any ones help would be taken. And these where famous well known ones to that offered. Maybe afraid of being exposed.

also the priest being really flustered upon leaving them just after it to. He seemed really distressed. Wonder did they confess to him and he cant tell any one. That would be cause to break your vows to me. But not to some priests.

Now thats interesting.

Like the dingo baby in a way isn't it. Years and years and that poor woman has only just been cleared from murder.

Disgraceful.

On the subject of why more people don't know about all the incriminating circumstantial evidence against the McCanns- I think it's also partly to do with the slick PR machine which was very quick in the early days to brand those who doubted them as freaks and Internet trolls etc.

Exactly. Dare any one speak about them in a bad light in places. I spoke on the exposure page and a few from my friends list seen it and where not happy. Some where friends of my parents to. And people troll that page calling people names and saying they are accusing the McCanns unfairly. I dont agree with pages making jokes about the whole thing, its far from funny. But I wont still there and pat their heads while they blatantly have done something, covered it up even an accident occurred. Most comes from people who refuse to see past the tears and the PR work that was done. Was it just me that could see from when this happened something wasnt right at all with them. Maybe I have a suspicious nature and question everything to much. Maybe their guilt pushes them on, in a socio-path style?

can someone who has read the book comment on whether it is about Maddie or just Kates biography really?

i started reading it, and it just tells you about what happened while in portugal and about witnesses and stuff, although the book started with how her and gerry met.. which if it was to raise awareness i don't think she would do. stopped reading half way through its boring i think. it's a shame it is still unsolved but the book doesnt help with anything, everybody knows this little girl is missing.
