Keeping it a secret

How do you keep the fact your ttc a secret? Next weekend im going away with work for an award ceremony they all keep talking about the bars and clubs they want to go to while we're there and i dont know how to explain why im not drinking, im going to test before we go but it will be 3-4 days before af is due so even if its negative i still wont be drinking just incase i know theyre going to ask why so how do i keep them from being suspicious?

I find this really hard too! I had a party last weekend and knew it would be spotted straight away that I wasn't drinking. So I decided I would say I was on antibiotics and that is why I wasn't drinking...

You could always pull your bartender/server aside and let them know that you would like virgin drinks only - that way you can still be "drinking" with your buddies and not have to worry!

I use the excuse of not being able to drink with my type of allergy meds lol, they don't know anyway if its true or not.

I know the feeling. I live in Las Vegas, where they practically throw drinks at you. I just volunteer to be the DD from the beginning.

I've grabbed a bottle of beer that has a dark bottle. I'll take small sips (a little sip won't hurt anything in my opinion) or fake sips. With the dark bottle no one really notices your bottle is still full. Granted the fact that it's only one drink all night is odd for some and could be a tip off. I'm not a heavy drinker so me having 1 is very typical for me. I've got a ladies night on Fri and trying to have a plan also.
