Knitting for charity

I've just started knitting and have discovered what a fantastic and relaxing hobby it is.

I was in the wool shop today and saw a sign asking people to help a charity called SANDS (Stillbirth & Neonatal death charity) making blankets for memorial boxes. (https://www.forum.sandsforum.org/content.php?81-URGENT-Call-For-Knitters

This made me think and I found the following site - https://www.eparenting.co.uk/knitfest/charityknitting.shtml

I think this a great idea and wanted to spread the word. So if you enjoy knitting why not support a charity and make blankets, or teeny preemie clothes, or one of the many other items that are needed by so many people.

good idear I would love to help but cant nit and no one will teach me keep up the good work
