hopefully someone can help
im due to go back to work in jan but really dont want to, what benefits woyuld i be eligeble for
ive worked since leaving school and just want some time out to see my boy grow!!!

I know the feeling Nicky

Dependant on what your OH earns you could be entitled to working tax credits, your child benefit and yor remaining mat pay?

As sb22 says, it depends on what your OH earns. If he earns a low salary you might get income support and council tax benefit in additon to child tax credits and working tax credits.

You will only be eliagble for child tax credits and child benefits which u should already be getting ...your oh earns over the limit to get working tax credits

Yep, your OH earns what mine does and we can get 21 a week CTC and 20 a week CB. Nowt else. His workmate is in the same position as us except they rent rather than own their home, and they get a bit more help. It seems a bit mad really, because I am sure when I've got my 41 a week and OH has his 600 a week, that works out a lot less than what some of the people who don't work get. Ho hum pig's bum. Never mind!

i think i stinks ive worked all my life and just want a bit of time off to see my son grow up!!!
some people never work and get everything paid for :(

I didn't think you were entitled to anything if you voluntarily leave a job, other than child tax or child benefit anyway, but yes your oh earns to much so he would have to provide for you x
