We're back! Lots of firsts for us this week - crawling, top teeth, pulling herself to standing, swimming with Mummy and first cycle ride! It's been VERY exciting. Next weekend we're going camping for the first time too :)

I'm planning a Night Garden party for Mog, as our garden is so full of trees I can dress it up to look like the Night Garden and it's a cute theme ;) I'll probably make a cake as I've made a few wedding cakes, but must start scouring the web for ideas!

O man, i just did the biggest post and it disappeared on me :(

Here i go again!!!

Hello girls, i am still here just never finding the time for big posts!!

We are both good this end. Imi is doing very well. We have crawling so fast that mummy can't keep up, pulling up and walking along everything, climbing, clapping, waving, dancing and 4 teeth!! We have the bottom middle 2 and the 2 top eye teeth. The top fronts are very nearly through and thankfully, they seem to have stopped causing her so much grief!!
I'm doing well - gall bladder op has all healed well and 2 days ago saw my first period since Imi was born. I had lots of bleeding while i was on the mini pill but never a period! This is even stranger for me seeing as I never had a cycle per Imi hence the treatment!! Hoping that it has something to do with my weightloss - i was 231lbs and i'm now 212lbs (ticker is out as i restrted it on 24th May). Still a long way to go but i'm getting there!! I will get in to that wedding dress!! Hoping that TTC might become a bit more "normal" if this is actually the start of something!! Only bad thing is i am due to go back to work on 28th July - i'm dreading it :( Off to see my boss soon to actually find out what job i'm going to be doing!! TBH i'm hoping that I don't have to be there long - just depends on OH. I'm hoping to aim for Christmas and then see about TTC again!! Wedding planning is going well, only just over 3 months to go!! Can't believe its coming round so fast but then i also can't believe our babies are all soon 1!!! O and that remind me - i'm 30 next week - YE.....30!!!!!! Where the hell did my life go?!!!!

Heidi - so pleased to see Caylees op went well. You are a very brave mummy and shes an even bravevr baby!! Hope you are resting up, Lily needs to cook in there a wee bit longer yet :) O and must say - Caylee is sooooooo cute, love looking at your pics on FB :)

Cleck - how you doing in your new home? Hope you are getting settled in OK. O and don't worry about her walking - she has loooooads of time yet xx

Sorry i haven't caught up personally with you all, i haven't posted for sooooo long that it would take me years!! Big hugs to you all xxxxx

Thanks ladies, i hope the cake is as similar to the pic i posted, i know it is expensive but its only money i got when i sold our mamas & papas skate buggy (the 2010 model, we sold it on ebay for £450!!) so its ok really lol! I cant remember the size we ordered, i think it might have been 12" and 10", but im not 100% sure!

oooohhh its so exciting having all these firsts!!! Kara took ONE step the other day, i was so proud lol!

We're planning a 'Hello Kitty' themed birthday party, i've bought everything already, its all upstairs in a huge box lol! i spent an absolute fortune on a website, which i cant recommend it highly enough - www.kids-partyshop.co.uk its great for kids parties, theres LOADS for 1st parties too! We've bought Kara a proper TuTu so she can be a ballerina on her big day lol, and then we got her a beautiful party dress incase she gets a bit uncomfy in the TuTu!

Im so excited, look out for all of our pics on facebook guys lol!xx

I've been trying to get a minute to post... I've been reading here a couple times each day to keep up! I don't really remember all I wanted to say. Lots of AF's returning- scary! I'm not TTC but since I haven't seen my AF, I haven't always used protection. I suppose I better start being more careful!!

LOL at MJ for the dada comment :haha: I remember Adam saying "Da Da" on the video too. Too cute!

Updates with Kira! She's crawling really good now, pulling up AND starting to cruise! It all happened so fast! She also has a great attention span for tv and will watch an entire 20 minute cartoon. I feel like a bad mother for it, but she really doesn't spend much time in front of the tv. People seem shocked that she will sit there and watch an entire show, but she gets that from her Daddy since he will zone out for hours while in front of the tv :haha: Kira also just started to put objects places. So instead of just removing blocks from a container and dropping them random places, she will actually put a couple back. Still no waving or saying "bye bye" or anything.

Here is a recent picture!

aw spidey shes gorgeous!! :)

today we went to my grandads and everyone was waving, and saying byebye to jesse and he waved his arm and said byebyebyebyebye lol :) he did it yesterday at my mums too :) xx

ashnbump! Awww I thought about doing a hello kitty theme too but than decided on cupcakes. Hello kitty will be so cute!! I got emma a tutu for hers as well but we have a bit longer before her birthday. :D Can't believe one of our lion cubs will already be a year old soon!! :happydance:

vici- Things have been pretty good here. It's quite beautiful in California. I'm amazed at how stunning the ocean is compared to the east coast. I don't love it here though. The people are quite rude. We've ran in to a few nice people but for the most part, people are just plain mean at times. I always thought california was full of free spirited hippy type of people. Not the case. :haha:

spidey- Kira is gorgeous as always. I love her little dimples when she's smiling. So amazing. :cloud9:

aunty E- Yay for all of those milestones!! :happydance: Such a busy week for little Imogen. :D

I swear I must be the only august mummy that still has a toothless child. :haha: Emma still has no sign of any teeth.

Vici, glad you are doing well!! :-) She is just simply BEAUTIFUL! She sounds like a very active little girl haha. Growing up so quick!!

The birthday party sounds super cute Ash! And yay for her first step, what a little champ.

Kira is beautiful, I adore her eyes. I hear ya on the tv thing, Caylee will not stop watching the Ni-Hao, Dora, etc. She gets so excited and claps and dances and just stares, it's so cute.

Caylee just had 4 teeth pop through, I could not believe it, she opened her mouth and I was like..where did these come from? Haha. She has a TERRIBLE cold, so do I..we are both pretty much dying over here, it's real crappy, hoping to feel better soon.
She also said "Tub" for the first time, I asked her what she wanted to do and she said "Tub" and walked into the bathroom and started to smack the bath tub haha, I was super proud. She gives me kisses all the time now and I just adore them, when I ask for a kiss she will go "mmmwaahh" and kiss me. Its so precious to me, I want her to stop growing!

I think I'm going to do a Dora theme for Kira's party. She loves Dora the Explorer (I'm not sure if you have that cartoon in the UK). I found a Dora cake pan and if that turns out to be a total disaster, I found a Dora candle that I could just stick on a regular cake :haha:

I really can't wait to see pictures from all the birthday parties!

Thanks for the compliments on Kira. I'm not sure where she got her blue eyes. I tease DH that the mail man has blue eyes :haha:

Cleckner- Emma will get teeth eventually! How has she been lately? I know she was being fussy and not feeling well a couple weeks ago possibly from teething.

She's been much better! She just must have been going through a bad patch. Maybe it's just teeth moving in there. Hard to say really. Thanks for asking! :D

So Emma stood by herself for a few seconds a few times today! Woo!! She did it and had an evil grin on her face like she's just testing me.

nuttymummy- Abbi is gorgeous! I love her chubby little cheeks! Kira might have more hair, but atleast Abbi has eyebrows LOL

I'm happy to hear that Emma has been doing better! Next she'll be taking steps!

Aw all the babies are so cute :cloud9:

is anyone elses babies sleeping loads? Sophia must be grpwing or something because all of a sudden she can;t get enough sleep. Like 13 hours at night and another 3 hours naps in the day. I am sure i have just jinxed it but hey how, it is great while it lasts, although I am not really able to leave the house cos all she does is eat and sleep! Good job there is football and tennis to watch!

Sophia needs to have a word with Adam about the loveliness of a good night's sleep. :dohh: He's getting harder and harder to get to sleep (after being no bother, or rarely any bother till now). Put him down and he bounces right back up. Last night was awful, he'd normally settle about 9pm, but it was after midnight... well after midnight.

He did have a 3 hour nap this morning. No nap this afternoon, though, and now he is racing up and down the living room like he's Linford Christie (on hands and knees). HOPEFULLY tiring himself out.

mj i know the feeling jesse slept through from a few weeks old up until we moved into this house at 7months hes still not got back to normal, he wont sleep til after 11pm most nights even though we start bedtime routine at 7pm, then hes in our bed at 2am and stays there, wakes at 5am,7am and than wants to get up he screams the place down if you try to put him in his own bed,

fingers crossed though in the last week we have had 3 good nights!!!

one night was 8pm til 7am
another was 9pm til 6am
and last night was 9pm til 7am

they wernt all in order though i hope this is a good sign cus we are knackered especially with stuart working 12hour days now with overtime!
