--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

Just practicing...

:tease:

Sam, :hugs: Like the other girls said, milestones are different for each baby, and you have such a strong and beautiful little girl who will do things in her own due time. But I can only imagine how it feels.

Booth, do not feel bad at all. You were trying to not only trying to express your feelings, which you are entitled to and thats why I love this board, because we get to do that freely and we all are understanding of one another, but you were trying to express some others feelings and make it comfortable for everyone, DO NOT FEEL BAD. WE love you lol :p :hugs:

Ash, two bottles is just fine hon. Caylee has been off bottles and formula for 3 weeks and the first week was hell, seriously. But the doctor told us she didnt need bottles or formula past the age of 1, she was getting enough from her food and we put her on cows milk and she does just fine :) I know some people still use toddlers formula and etc, and I applaud them, I would have wanted to keep her on it as well, but I wanted to wean her off before Lily got here, one less thing for me to be stressed about and having to do alone with 2 kids :)

Ok thanks Cleck, I clicked all of those HAHAHA. I was like...is it broken? :p Im a nugget.

I feel the same way Ash, I have such a good connection with some of the girls here and I feel so calm and relaxed and free to talk about things, that my friends around me do not understand, I love having you girls!

 I figured I couldn't put too many spoilers or you girls would give up. :haha: You can also put spoilers around things by clicking 'go advanced' and there is a smiley with his eyes covered with a black strip. That is the spoiler feature too.

Thanks Heidi! She's on cows milk but the past couple days shes just decided two bottle is enough, I guess I will just let her do what she's doing, she seems to be doin well with it lol! I think the next step forward is the potty -_- xx

Has anyone started potty training yet? I know Heidi you said you were gonna. How is that going? Emma sits on her potty with me after naps and in the mornings but so far she hasn't went in the potty yet. She just sits there and looks up at me with a grin on her face usually. I explain to her what it's for but she's clearly not ready yet. I just like getting her used to it. I think if she ever goes in it I'll just get real excited and praise her...like a puppy. lol.

ARGH!! Our babies are growing way too fast
In a tincy tiny way im lucky because Elin is in her "baby" stage so much longer :p
Thanks for understanding girls you really are the best bunch of friends a girl can ask for xxx

Ah potty training lol. We tried to start around 11 months, its been hard. She has only gone pee once, and I honestly believe it was because she sat there for toooo long and just had to pee lol

Ross and I though everytime we go to the bathroom, we sit her potty next to ours and sit her on it, Ross has became a champ at peeing sitting down :p haha it so funny. But she knows how to flush our toilet and when I pee she rips off toilet paper and hands it to me and watches me wipe and now when we change her diapers, she grabs a wipe and wipes herself, but no such luck with her just going potty on her own

yeah i for one am jealous you get a 'baby' for longer haha, :p :hugs: i dont want jesse to grow up!

ash jesse has 9oz of toddler milk at bedtime and 9oz first think so he only has 2 bottles a day, i think thats fine for their age :) xx

and thanks everybody for being understanding :hugs:

were going to get jesse a potty at christmas, he isnt walking yet and he needs to at least be walking before we bother, im not going to seriously 'potty train' him til probably next spring/summer xx

Aww @ her ripping off toilet paper and handing it to you. :D Emma just tears our toilet paper to shreds and throws it all over the floor. :dohh: And I did catch Emma wiping herself with a baby wipe the other day when she was getting diaper free time. :haha: It was cute. She's really curious about her vagina. Always touching it.

Boothh- yeah I don't plan on getting serious about potty training until Emma is 2 or more. I just feel like there is no way she's ready yet. But it's still fun seeing her sit on it for now and being aware that it's there.

Caylee does that too and Ross always says "Caylee that is private parts, that is a VAGINA" he just does not know what to do and it makes me laugh so hard when he says vagina al loud, its like Ross.....lol men

thats so cute that caylee peed on the potty and that she wipes herself! i swear she is a child genious!! :p

i dont mind him in nappies yet though i suppose i want him out of them by the time the next baby arrives i dont fancy changing 2 sets of nappies!!
i figured boys take longer than girls, though my cousin was 2 when he got an infection in his doodaa and couldnt wear nappies for a few days and he learned in those few days how to use the potty and to stay dry at night! whilst my niece is 3 now and she still wears pull ups at night time! she had a pretty traumatic first few years though and was in foster care until my brother won custody when she was nearly 2 so he didnt try her until she had had a good 6months to settle into her new life xx

Caylee is sucha trouble maker!!! She was being quite, which is unlike her, so I look up from my computer, which I just did right before I typed that and she was CRAWLING into our book shelf, she did get all the way in there but I got up and took her out, how does she manage to crawl and sit on a shelf?GEESH! :dohh:
