--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

Ahh, well I might take Imi this week then :D Thanks hun :D

They will remove my gall bladder and along with that all the nasty stones causing the problems :)

Ack, doesn't sound like much fun! (The op, not the swimming! Swimming will be LOTS of fun! Hehe...) Hope you're not in too much pain till then

We've been taking comparison photos of Vince at the end of each month, it's lots of fun, we take one close up of his face with his little hands in it and one shot of his whole body in a vest to compare and see how he's changing. This is September's face close-up (a couple of days late, granted: We just took it today :) )
I really love this pic of him!

So pleased hon that's great news :hugs: I know that means a lot to you both. xxx

Love that picture too!!!

One handed again but Sam has his first cold  feel so sorry him as can't do anything really.

I am reading posts girls just not typing much as he hardly goes down for naps and it's hard typing and holding the baby.

Thinking of you all though. x

((((((((((((((Sam))))))))))))))))

Poor little mite, at least it'll make his immune system tougher!

Kelsey has just got over a cough/cold she was bringing up flem in her sick/milk... we found runninig a hot bath and either feeding her or just sitting in there and let the steam help her breath...

Hi everyone - how is everyone doing?

Carter - cute pick - good to see you starting early - certainly wouldn't want another Man U fan!

Booth - nice sig, I am not clever enough to do anything like that!

Shadow - swimming sounds great! I am going to wait until Sophia has had her jabs and then get her to the pool. I take it from facebook that you are struggling a bit with pain at the mo - hope it clears up. Great news about your OH seeing Finlay :happydance:

jelr - glad the infacol helped, hope the colic clears up soon.

Vici - good to have you back - where did you go on hols

hmm, I know I wanted to say something to Rubyrose and Mimiso - but I can't remember what!! doh - I am such a dufus! hope you are both ok ladies, and that any troubles you are having calm down ASAP!!

Bun - eek - you might be pregnany hey - that is good work!! Keep us updated!

Hugs to anyone else I have forgotten - certianly nothign intentional - I just have a truly crap memory - should really get a pen and paper!

I was also wondering how Cleck is doing - Cleck if you do lurk - then hello, hope things are good with you and Emma!

As for us, well Sophia has a cold (which reminds me - Pip, hope Sam gets better soon, it is horrible listenign to them all bunged up isn'tit!). We are using saline drops and have raised teh head of her moses basket slightly by placing a book uder each leg of her stand. She also has a rash that the HV thinks might be contact dermatitis, so we haev been trying to figure out what is irritating her - we thoguth we had figured out (we used bounce once when tumble drying her sheet). The rash got better when we changed her bedding - but it came back again today - so back to teh drawing board. Anyone got any experience of rashes in babies? Am gonna take her to the doctors tomorrow - no doubt he will think I am over reacting!! Other than the cold, rash and a growth spurt - Sophia is doing great!!

(((((((((Sam)))))))))

Pips, have you tried Nasosal (sp?) nose drops? I got them in Tesco - Owen has had a blocked nose and they have helped.

Well, I had an overtired and grumpy little man here tonight - think he's having another growth spurt - lots of feeding and not much sleeping today! He's finally down and asleep, but I'm shattered!!!

Hope you are all OK girls, I don't seem to find the time to keep up with you all - I read what I can - I'm so sorry if I have missed something major and seem insensitive to someone. xxx

hi ladies, just after a bit of advice really, havw you all had a visit from the :witch: yet? josh will be 9 weeks on tues and still no sign, not that i want it, but would like to know whats going on, hope your all doing well.

OMG, OMG, OMG, my little sis just phoned me. SHE'S HAVING A BABY!! She's 26 and her and her DF have been trying for just under a year :D She has no idea how far gone she is as her AF is so irregular but woo hoo :happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::cloud9:

Hmmmm, I've been wondering about Cleck too... Also, it's a shame that Gabs doesn't seem to come on here any more. I see her status updates on FB though so I guess she's doing well with her boys!
Cleck, if you're watching, lots of love to you and that little lady. If you fancy just PMing someone rather than chatting in the big group, I volunteer! Hope all is ok and that you're just all busy with Emma and Corey :D

Shiv, sorry honey I have no idea about rashes :( But I feel for you and Kaygee on the growth spurt thing: I think Vince might be coming up to another one now, he has been sooooo cranky all day (apart from one brief moment when I managed to take that cute pic hehe!) and it seems all he wants to do is feed, but then he won't take his normal amount when we do feed him! He sure does like to try my patience! Hope Sophia's rash and cold clear up soon xxx

Kaygee, nice to see you in here :) Hugs to Owen!

Costgang, I don't think you're breastfeeding are you? So not sure why AF has stayed away, but I'd make the most of it! I think it can vary loads from person to person when :witch: returns!

And last but not least, Vici, wohooooo! :wohoo: for your little sis!!! That must be so cool for you, Imi will have a little cousin close in age, how cool!! :D

Hey girls. Aww thanks for thinking about me. I read in here when I can but never seem to be able to type before Emma needs attention. She is still wanting the boob pretty much 24/7. LOL! But it is slowly getting better. We've been exclusive for quite a few weeks now though so I think it's totally worth it. It isn't like I have anything better to do. :haha:

We just recently started putting her on her activity mat to get her to play and a few nights ago was the first time she reached out and purposely grabbed for the toys! :happydance: She'd always hit them but never intentionally. It's such a dumb thing to be excited about but I was yelling for DH to see and everything. hehe.

She is always smiling but she's done that from the start. She'll even smile while still attached to my nipple. Which may be TMI but oh well. haha. She is fascinated by our fish aquarium. I can sit her on the couch on her Boppy(does the UK use boppy's?) facing the aquarium and she will just stare and smile at all the fish swimming around. Roxy tends to keep her distance to an extent. She now sleeps under our bed instead of with us because the bed is a bit crowded with Emma there. I never thought I'd be a cosleeping mommy but I honestly love waking up next to her in the mornings. She's my little cuddle monster.

I am super happy to see that most of us are doing so well! And :hugs: to those of you still having issues! I can't believe a few of you are already thinking you may be pregnant again!! I know it's crazy but I always think about wanting another already. Obviously I have to wait after having a c-section but I"m already thinking of options and all of that. Before Emma I said I wanted 2-3 kids. Now I say I want 4. LOL! It's funny how everything changes.

Darn, I was hoping to write more but Emma is screaming and I've been up here too long. Time to go make dinner and of course feed her as well. I miss you girls and I think of you all the time. I'll try to get on more often though! :hugs:

Real quick I wanted to add I still haven't had an AF either. Emma will be 8 weeks on tuesday. But I am exclusively BF so I don't think it's abnormal in my case.

Okay so I posted a video of Emma in our picture thread! After seeing Shadow and Carters videos, I think more of us should post videos to show off these cuties! :haha: *hint hint* girls!! :flower:

Hey everyone,

Sorry that I haven't been on here as regularly as I used to. I had to start pumping and supplementing with formula. I could never get James' position right and he started making me blister. It's ok I guess because when I go back to work, he will have to eat from a bottle anyway. He is doing really well. I am going about my normal activities finally. I still feel like at times I'm having fluid on my lungs but I am wondering if I'm trying to come down with a cold. James is doing well. Cleck, I know what you mean about it looks like Emma is smiling while feeding because James does it too!!!! James is a hearty eater already eating 4 to 5 ounces every 2 hours!!! One reason I had to start giving him formula because he was absolutely draining me. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well.

Archie is feeding so much, for last 2 weeks he has been draining 150mls every 3 hours now its starting to steaily go to 180mls every 3 hours!! This is normal aptamil i want to move up to hungry baby but worrie its gonna constipate him. :o/

josh is on aptimil for hungry babies and he`s not constipated, got to go to dr tomorrow for first jabs:wacko: he wont be very happy then, is anyone else missing work? i am, crazy isnt it, prob coz i have a laugh and just play all night at work, i did a shift friday night, ive not laughed so much in months

Hi girls

Just a quick message - thanks to all who gave advise on the demand feeding or routine. When Natasha is settled she goes every 4 hours but on the days she unsettled I seem to be feeding her all day, but then I think that is more me thinking she is hungry when she is not so I am going to try and stick to the 4 hours from now on and see how we go. She is still pretty much settled and we have only had one bad day since so fingers crossed it stays like that and we are back at the osteopath tomorrow.

I see some of your LO's have colds, hope it all clears up soon the poor things. Well the little lady is due a feed now so I'm gonna run.

Sorry for not writing to all of you again - I feel so bad for not getting to everyone these days, but I dont seem to get a minute with Natasha, housework and my family being over all the time. :hugs: to you all though and I do read all the time. Xx

Hmm mighttry it then anyone else think archie might need to go on this?? I thought it might be a growth spurt two weeks ago but its still happening and he seems wriggly and unsettled all the time not to the point he cries but he makes noises and eats his hand lol
