is one else planning on having anymore babies? i was going to stop at 3 but ive changed my mind and im thinking if trying when josh is 6 months old, am i mad?

Costgang, I wanted to stop at three too because of my SPD but always wanted four kids so I guess I am going to try one more time for number four

My little princess has brown eyes and black hair and I dont think it will change. It is quite emotiona the journey we have been through even though the majority of the time was a lurker in the 'August Mummies' thread

i want another but asap because i wanted to stop after im 25 n thats next july lol, i would like another boy!!

Hi ladies,
Congratulations to us all on our little ones. How's everyone settling into being new mummies?
It took me a while to get used to calling myself 'mami' when I spoke to Tomos but now I love hearing myself say it!! :happydance::happydance:
The first 3 an a half weeks have flown by. Tomos is doing very well. I don't like to think too much about the birth because it had turned into such a panic - I was having contractions every minute but was not dilating at all, and then his CTG showed him in distress which was why they gave me a c-section, which didn't go too smoothly because as soon as the spinal tap was in, his heart had stopped. They had to cut me open before OH could run into the theatre in his lovely peach gown. They hadn't even put the screen up fully!
Anyway, he was born 6lbs 14 but is now 8lbs 4. He's a greedy guts!! I started out breastfeeding but am finding it too hard so I'm changing to formula. Going through lots of guilt issues at the moment about it, but, hey, I tried. And to make me feel even more guilty, we had to take him to the out of hours GP today because he has thrush in his mouth
I'll try and get some picture posted soon of my gorgeous little boy. Sorry bout the long post, but, like you all probably, I could talk about him for hours!!
xx

didnt plan it like this but my 3 have gaps of around 6 years, but in 6 years i will be to old!!!! will be 39 nearly, so im gonna go for it in feb, oh stills needs convincing, but that wont be to hard:haha::haha: and i think it will really nice for josh to have a sibling close to his age. i had really bad spd this time, although didnt find out thats what it was til about 34 weeks, i was told i wasnt standing proprerly? anyway swore never again, but i am going to have tooo!!! wouldnt it be funny if some of us were pregnant at the same time again?

lol yeh it would be, i think my OH will need some convincing too! lol, he said he dont want anymore!:( but in fairness i want to pursue my job dream of being a police dog handler, so if he wants no more then i can start that up!:)

Adam has light brown/fairish hair - I think it'll turn fair/blond, like his dad had when he was little, then darker when he's older. I was golden fair/brown till I was 3, then went dark. Eyes are dark blue, I hope they'll turn hazel/brown like mine! Dad has blue eyes but most people on my side have brown or hazel, and that dominates.

As for more babies... I'd love another and would have to go for it sooner rather than later as I'm 35. Maybe in a year or so... see how we go! :D

hey ladies, glad to see you and your LO's are all doing well!

Kara is growing at an astonishing rate lol, she's gaing around an ounce a day and she now weighs 7lb 10oz!!!

She's got beautiful big blue eyes, everyone is always telling me how beautiful her eyes are! I highly doubt they'll change now, especially considering me and David both have blue eyes too. Her hair is blonde on top but a bit darker around the back and sides! he daddy is a real blonde, and im a mousey blonde, so hopefully she'll stay a blondey, although i think she could go strawberry, as we have it from my mums side!

with regards to other babies, i cant wait! Me and OH are going to try asap, well once my body has recovered. I'd love to give Kara a sibling, i think it would be nice for them to have one another! Plus we want four before we turn 30, and we are 22 now, so we need to get crackin lol! Get them all out the way at once, and have the hard bit over with!

oohh my 6 week postnatal check is today at 1.20pm, a bit late mind u, considering its 7 weeks lol, im a bit nervous!xx

Harvey escaped the red hair too unless it starts to change. He has brown hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes which open a little wider and are more alert every day. OH and I both have bright blue eyes so I can't see harvey's changing too much.

OH and I always said we'd like more than one child but I still need the memory of giving birth to Harvey to fade a bit before I even consider TTC again!

Awww :hugs: gwiff, sounds like a bit of a traumatic birth... Like you, I don't think about the birth / hospital stay much either! We take Vincent's PROPER start in life as being the day we got him home from the hospital :)
Like you, I couldn't manage the breast feeding (various issues, partly because of complications with my disability and the fact that I was so ill at the time, also the awful hospital not helping me to learn effective BFing at all :dohh:) but I had a lot of guilt about it too for a while. I'm much more settled now with the bottle feeding, and feel much better about it in general. It really really isn't the end of the world to switch to formula: it is so well made these days. My OH and his daughter were both formula fed, and they are both just the healthiest people, and were very healthy as infants too. Don't beat yourself up about it :) :hugs:

OK, so as I said, Vince seems to have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair: Just like my dad, actually. We were quite surprised that his hair is poker straight though, as both OH and I have very curly hair naturally (I straighten mine :winkwink:) but maybe it will start to show a curl later on?

As for having more babies, we always said we'd like at least two, and we talked about them both being boys (Vincent and Isaac :D ) and then we thought we'd consider the possibility of a third after that. But it has been a lot harder than we thought to have just Vincent (though we totally adore him!) and so weare still considering our options in that respect... I'd still like to give Vince a sibling (well, he has a big sister by OH's ex wife, but not a sibling who lives with us...) but I think I'd need to wait a year or two to build up the courage to do it again!! Also by that time we will hopefully have a much better idea of how to cope with everything around my disability, and so if we decide to do it again we will be much more aware of how it might go etc... I think I'd like another boy, but I'd be ok with a girl next time. We both really wanted a boy first, so now that we have him I wouldn't mind having a girl for a change :)

Oh, and OH is 35 and I am 25, so we don't consider ourselves as having a time limit on having more kids really :)

i think beacuse me mum and dad had us early on and now my parents are 50 im the youngest and my eldest brother is 30, and they are living their life now and going abroad etc....., and thats what i would like to do. have them all whilst im young and have got the energy to keep up with them!. i do want another asap but OH isnt keen lol. id start trying now if i could lol. xx

No more babies for us, DH had the snippity snip! There is 4 years between each of them, so in 3 and a bit years time, my legs are getting glued shut, the boys were pill babies and Amber was a minera baby so I am not risking the 1 in 5000 of a vasectomy failure!

Amber still has deep purple eyes but DS2's eyes are still half blue half brown! Brown on the outside and blue on the inside of the iris.

Hey ladies just managed to come to this bit keep going to the pregnancy forum....

 hi, MummyBurgo, glad you found us! Hehe... I do still lurk in third tri sometimes, I just can't seem to say goodbye!! Once we're all in here, I think I'll probably stop checking third tri every day hehe...

Wow, angel, your kids have cool eye colours!! So Amber's eyes are purple at the mo? That's so cool, and her middle name is Violet hehe how appropriate :winkwink:

Think of poor Pippin today, guys: She's in slow painful labour and can't wait to meet little Sam and join us in here!! Quicker labour :dust: to Pips!! x x x x

Bun - you'd start trying again NOW if you could?! gawd, you're a brave lady!! Hehe...
So you don't fancy having a girl for a change? Not that we get any choice in it of course! I always pictured myself having lots of boys too, but I wouldn't mind a girl :winkwink:
