My friend had a baby born with Williams syndrome so he is always far behind growth wise. At 1 I think he was in 3-6 months and now at 5 he's almost out of 2T. Still not 0-3 but I'm sure there are some similar rare circumstances!

Exactly the case here! It's not as mad as it seems! At almost 2 our LO could still fit 3-6month Asda sleep suits

Good on GAP, it's hard enough finding nice clothes for littler ones!

Makes perfect sense to me. My almost 6 month old is the same size as my friends' 18 month old. My now 3 year old is the height of an average 6 year old (43"). It would be lovely if they all fit the same but they sure don't!!!

They would have fit my preemie at 1 year old

He is 4.5 now and still in some size 1 shirts but mainly size 2
