it's taken a slight upturn this morning, i'm not convinced though, i thought it should be a strong increase - we'll see.

I see Stardancer has already waved goodbye to her AF, I'm so jealous! Mine is definitely still here.

Not much to tell really, things still as normal. AF is here, no pain or anything, just waiting until she goes so I can start checking my CM and hope to ovulate this month.

I'm getting ready to welcome CD1
i've been spotting for 4 days now and my temp has stayed low, and went to loo about 10 mins ago to get red on wiping so i feel her visit is due now and there is nothing i can do about it but welcome it with open arms and hope for a shorter cycle this time round!

CD17 your last positive OPK would be when you ovulated.

Things are still the same for me, making me think I'm in for another long cycle =( CD8 now, and still bleeding quite heavily. Not very hopeful for her leaving any time this week. I'm incredibly jealous of StarDancer, looking at her chart ... she looks like she's getting ready for ovulation next week.

Littlestar, sorry to hear you've joined us in a new cycle hon. Hope your wait will be short and sweet, with a successful ovulation and pregnancy at the end of it. You're only a couple of days behind me ... I'm not gonna be happy if you stop bleeding before me!

Gabrielle - Be careful hon! Don't risk your relationship for some OPKs, without your hubby you ain't gonna get anywhere, without OPK's there's still a high chance of getting pregnant. He's willing, just worried ... let it happen naturally, don't push your luck.

Aww Erised babes I am lucky AF doesn't stay long... but my cycles are usually stupidly long. I was better on metformin - 45 days ish, before that, I had 95 days, 78 days etc etc etc. I'm too scared to hope for ovulation next week tbh, it's all so fast... and it might not happen.

8 Days bleeding is harsh, geez... mine used to be about a week all in all... 8 days is ridiculous. You have my sympathy and

Oh yah! Finally a home for me and my 50 day cycles! So excited to see! Came off the BCP in July. Withdrawl bleed 18 days later and Cycle 1 was 50 days! Husband and I didn't start "trying" until this cycle.

Currently sitting at Day 33 of this cycle. I have been temping, but of course don't really know if I am doing it correctly. Temping at 0645am each morning - before getting out of bed. But I also know that I sleep terrible and lay and look at the clock many times thru the night - so I really don't know if my temps are accurate.

Been having tons of sex. My poor husband has a limp because of me - but he has no complaints and wants it just as bad as me.

I don't even know if I ovulated this cycle or if its still to come. Saw my first temp spike this morning in FF - but doubting the whole thing of course. I feel pangs in my stomach, my BB's are sore - but I don't know if I read too much into these things.

Had very dark O pee sticks on Cycle Days 29 and 30.

Gosh - we spend our young lives trying to prevent getting pregnant and now all we want to do is nail it! So happy to have found this thread and to know that others are fighting long cycles as well! Looking forward to following all the journeys here!

hi girls mind if i join in?

i posted up in ttc about my long cycles and was reccomended to join this thread so i'm with tohers in the same boat.

bit about me i'm leigh 22 and have 2 dd's. i fall pg in april but m/c at 8 weeks and fall pg in june and mc'd at 9 weeks.

since then comes and goes as she pleases.

i used to have long cycles when ttc dd1 (ranging between 30-60 days) but after her birth they shortened to 30-45 days. after dd2 they seemed to settle to 35 days with the odd one being a few days longer.

my first cycle after my last m/c was 29 days and the 2nd 40 days and i can see this one being long too (curently on cd15 and looks like an anovulatory cycle going by temps).

so hello to you all and look forward to getting to know you over the next few months. x

Just posting to give you girls a little update. I'm still waiting for AF to leave! I'm now on CD11, and I'm -hoping- this will be my last day of AF.
How are you other ladies holding up? Stardancer, your chart is looking great! Are you using OPK's at all this month? Noticed you haven't written down any results if you are.

Yup, she's still here ... though a lot lighter today than she was yesterday =) I think she left some clothes behind and on her way out had to run back for them ... but hopefully, after staying the night again, she'll have all her stuff tomorrow and actually leave!
To be honest, while the witch annoys me, I'm more worried that this is a sign of another stupidly long cycle. I guess only time will tell.

I see she's already left you! Hopefully that's a good sign for your cycle this 'month'!

Gosh this cycle I had my for darn near 10 days! It was just dreadful. Now sitting at 4DPO and have my toes crossed for each additional day I get with no witch. Sore BB's, small cramping, lots of twinges. Gives me hope to know that my body is working when FF tells me that I actually ovulated.

background info....(could be long)

*my names donna and i am 21 years old.
*first af was when i was 15 and after i had NOTHING for 13months.
*i then had a "regular" af at every 4months, which was regular for me.
*had plenty of tests done, everything working normally
*i went on to the pill when i was 18 as i met my partner and having a baby at the time wasnt right for us. a year later i decided to come off the pill to try let my body regualte its self...
* i had nothing for 2years after coming off the pill
*fell pregnant in august 07 (roughly with me not havin an af..didnt know what dates where.)
*lost my little girl when i was 6months pregnant
*had regular af's for 3months, which i was soooooo happy about
* i started taking anti depressants for 3 weeks as wasnted coping with the grief
* Never had an af for 3months after i stopped taking the tablets, may08-aug08
*had af aug 4th (but not like a "rregular" one) and have had nothing since

so currently on day 76(i think) and ive also been getting two very strong lines on OPK'S for nearly 2 weeks now, so getting some tests done as i know that isnt right, but had 2 peak days on a cbfm so not sure what is going o

Well I am a bit confused cos I normally go at least 42 days per cycle...but this cycle have ov'd at CD21 (according to BBTs)....?

Seems very weird, having a period so close to ov'ing!! I normally have at least 4 weeks in that gap!

So am hoping it as a positive sign that things might go well for me this cycle. The next two weeks will tell eh?

Welcome DiddyDons! Probably a very stupid question, but have you tried a pregnancy test? Dark ovulation tests can mean pregnancy as well if they continue.

littlestar & Loo, yay for both of you!! Lets hope it means you girls will be on track for short cycles (and more pregnancy chances!!) from now on.
AF is still here for me. Had hoped she's be gone by today, but nah. So that makes it 12 days of AF so far, add 11 days of spotting before that, makes it 23 days. Last cycle I only had 18 days of spotting and AF combined Must admit this makes me very very worried that it will be like last cycle. And when I thought of that this morning ... that would mean I probably won't see AF again until next year! So freaked out right now.
