Implantation at 7-10dpo can cause spotting

Don't want to get your hopes up, but I think you're still definitely in with a chance! Do you usually spot for a few days before the arrives??

While on BCP I used to have 2 days of spotting before AF, my cycles after have been too messed up to tell really. So I don't know! Love your optimism though =D ... I think I'll stick with implantation spotting until it's an obvious AF.
My nose has gone super stuffy today as well. Unfortunately I've been on a nose spray for the last 5 months or so because I have nose problems, so I don't know if it's just getting worse again or if it might be a symptom. Or it could just be a cold, as my eyes are slightly red and puffy too ... *sigh*

Think this could be my first official 2ww ... hopefully it will actually last those 2 weeks, or 9 months! No less

I think this is my 4th official 2ww, but the 3rd time I OV'ed I couldn't try, so there was nothing to it. I never used to appreciate how hard it was... and my first I was a NIGHTMARE. LOL!! I'm calmer this time, but that might be due to me being only 6dpo... I think I might go a bit crazy in a couple of days!!

Just read your journal, and sounds like things are looking good for you too! Bleeding gums, peeing a lot ... fingers crossed!

My stuffy nose seems to have gone away, making me think it was just the usual whatever it is playing up. I'm still not all that hopeful, especially as my temperature went down a bit again today. It's still slightly above the coverline, but not much. Even if it's AF, I'll welcome her with both arms. A new cycle wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Lets hope you won't need your Clomid next cycle ... would be nice if the last cycle before clomid did what it's supposed to do and carry a little one for you =)

After filling in my temperature today, FF has decided I didn't actually ovulate after all. I'm not surprised at the least to be honest. My spotting hasn't kicked into full blown AF yet, actually it hasn't shown it's face at all today. Blah ... back to waiting! If next week AF still hasn't shown up I'll do another test. Fully expecting it to be a BFN

I got a positive opk! the line is almost as dark as the control line - i guess they get darker!
but after 53 days of none event i am so totally with it now!!

Thanks Erised - your current Cycle totally reminds me of my first after my pill - it took 81 days to arrive and have every symptom under the sun - i was totally convinced i was pregnant!

It is very early days, I've got my fingers crossed for you though ... Would be fantastic if this month would bring you such positive news =D

I'm still spotting. When do you change it from spotting to AF? A question that's been bugging me =/ The first days of spotting was only once or twice a day, where as now every time I wipe there's blood. Yet not enough for it to show up on the pad. So where do I draw the line? I could either be into CD2 of a new cycle, or simply still spotting. Help please girls.

My temperature also took a dip today, so I'm guessing that even if I can't call it AF today I will do soon. Oddly enough FF has once again thought I've ovulated. My line went away but came back again the next day. I'm still not too sure as I got a negative OPK that day.

I was afraid you'd say that. It's what I've read everywhere, but hoped that maybe I remembered it wrong. Got the horrible feeling this spotting is gonna stay just that, and then disappear. I've had 8 days of spotting in the last 9 days now =( We'll see, the first day I'm gonna actually need the pad I'm going to be over the moon ... never thought I'd be so happy to get my period. Still, every day of spotting is 1 day closer to a next cycle. I hope

Sorry erised, I agree...think spotting when its just there on wiping but not really otherwise. Once need the pad its AF. So think you are still spotting. I had a cylce where I had spotting for 7 days before AF...but she did eventually come...x

Hi erised, I had two boughts of spotting that lasted between 5 days and over a week during my last cycle. Occassionally (sp?) I needed a pad but only cos I was exercising but I never got full flow if you know what I mean. From what I gather, mid cycle spotting is pretty common for long cycles i'm afraid.

Hope your sparkly new cycle plays nicer with you when it shows face!

I'm still spotting today. If anything I'd say it's getting lighter again. It's now 10 days with only 1 day off in between there somewhere. My temperature took a lovely dip yesterday and is climbing back up again today. All my OPKs are negative, so I had hoped that today my AF would break through after the dip. No such luck. I shall keep using the OPKs through out the spotting anyway, even though I know it's highly unlikely. Just wouldn't want to miss the 1 day I get in maybe 80 flippin' days.

How are you other ladies holding up? Still having positive symptoms Stardancer?

Well I'm on cd 42 and I have a doctors appointment for Tuesday! DH doesn't want my to take provera or clomid again however, I don't feel the same! I am going to take whatever the doctor gives me to better my chances at conceiving a child!

I took provera and AF came on August 27th, and then I took Clomid but nothing! So fustrating! I hope he gives it to me again this way I can try once more with Clomid and Provera

ERISED~~~ have you always had long cycles? Are the regular though? (long but always the same number of cycle days?)

It was 16:08 when you posted according to my time stamp =) At the moment it's 17:18 here. Probably a couple of minutes later when I actually post.

Good luck with your Dr appointment! Let us know how things went and if you're on a new medication for the next cycle. Hope it will help you =)

My cycles used to be regular at around 30 days before I went onto BCP, though they got a little screwed up towards the end and I ended up bleeding for a full month. Needless to say, while on BCP it was regular at 28 days though AF pretty much stopped at the end. Ended up seeing my GP about it, but he said it was nothing to worry about and that I should just enjoy the lack of AF.

Since I came off BCP in May I've been irregular, and this is my first -long- cycle. However, today there was actually some blood on the pad! Not all that much, and only once today ... not really willing to call it AF until I've bled enough for it to show up several times a day. The way I'm looking at it now is, the longer I wait before calling it AF, the shorter my next cycle will be.

Well, today is CD50 and if FF is right the is due today Let's hope not! But if i don't get my this cycle, I'm starting acupuncture on the 20th, so that should put an end to these whacked out cycles and give us some more chances to conceive
