Welcome back Amy! Obviously you saw Lucy & Littlestar's news. Other than that, not much has happened in the last week. Lucy moved on to first tri. Welly joined us. Quail thought got her, but turns out it was ovulation bleeding. Me & Erised are still in limbo...

congrats littlestar,xxx well im really confuzzled now doc thought spotting was o, but today and yesterday ive had tons of ewcm but opks are neg so ive had spotting cd19-22 then ewcm on cd26 and 27 any ideas?last month i had spotting cd19 then af cd 41 any help would be appreciated.x

It may have something to do with your changing hormones. I had a few weeks of spotting after I went off of the pill. Maybe your body is still working things out since you were nursing.

i'm currently hanging around waiting to head off to my FS appointment.

Still got a feint this morning but it's still really feint - i'm crossing my finges tightly hoping for the to stay away for the whole 9 months!!

Hi all, I am new round hear... and so glad to read back through this thread and know I am not the only one in this boat.

I had implanton (contraceptive implant) removed beginning of Oct 08 and since then have has 21, 49 & 42 day cycles. This is the second cycle we have been ttc, and currently on day 36 with BFN yesterday

I am thinking of getting ovulation kit, just not sure to go for saliva kit or urine? any suggestions???

he wouldn't confirm - they did a test as well and it theirs also showed a feint line but he wouldn't give a confirmation.

so i've been prodded and poked today. had a smear, three swabs (made me bleed ) and an internal examination (he put his fingers in my woohoo and pushed my cervix around to check for discomfort)

also gave three lots of blood for various tests inc pregnancy and should get results for that on friday though he is expecting that to be negative.

so all in all i'm going back for clomid in 6 weeks if my results come back neg.

Ugh, bad gynae! Though I can understand, as you might still be very early on in pregnancy. Did he explain why he thinks the blood test will come back negative though?

Fingers crossed you won't need to come back for Clomid.
Reading your story I'm now slightly worried about what's to come next week. My GP just made it sound like I'd pop in, get Clomid and get send out. This mostly because I've already had a whole load of bloods done. But now I'm starting to think there will be a whole lot more to it.

he didn't say why he thought the blood would come back negative but i've brought a couple more tests and i aim on testing again at the weekend so if hasn't arrived by then i will expect a darker line.

He has also requested a scan which i should have through fairly quickly.

The new hospital is totally fab though, really light and easy to get around.

At least the gynae is nice and helping you out where he can, plus you feel comfortable with the hospital.

Totally love this hospital the turn around for anything is minimal - my referal for my hearing aid was quick as well - the waiting list at the city main hospital is months and everything i've been referred to at this hospital have come through within 4 weeks.

it's only been open in it's newest form since last oct 08(old hospital is still on site but slowly being knocked down) it has state-of-the-art maternity and epu units. so yes this will be my first choice for my pregnancy/labour care!

Littlestar, it just doesn't make sense why you'd have all of these faint lines but your Dr. thinks your blood test will be negative. I really hope this is it for you! Fingers crossed your lines keeps getting darker!

Hi Hannpin! Glad you could join us (well not because you have bad cycles, but you know what I mean!) I have used urine OPK's and don't know much about the saliva tests. I am very good at reading them and my body plays tricks on me, so I am not sure if I'll use them this cycle. It can't hurt for you to try them. Hopefully they'll work for you!

does every one get pos on OPK's? coz i have been getting nothing just mega faint lines... unless ive still got cerazette hormone in me from the pill. i am debating wether to use Angus castus to try and get me back on track but im a bit scared incase it makes things worse.

Hi Amy! I am the opposite. I get lines a few times in my cycle although I don't seem to really be ovulating. Then I discovered it was probably because I wasn't drinking much throughout the day and dehydration can affect the results. What time of day are you using them. Do you drink a lot the few hours before? Diluted urine can also give false results. I am not sure about Agnus Castus, as I am also scared to try it.

I've got Agnus Castus right in front of me, staring at me every day ... But I still don't dare to take it.

I might start taking it start of next cycle, which should be in about a week. Only -if- I've spoken to the gynae first and seen how that goes.
