Hmm, that's interesting Quail. Not sure what's going on. It could be that your HCG levels haven't dropped yet, or you could be one of the few who get a bleed in pregnancy. What were your other pregnancies like?

Littlestar, glad you stopped by. How are you feeling? When do you go for your scan again? By the way, the "Pregnancy Buddies with LucyLu" comment in your signature is so cute. I can't wait until I have one...

I actually feel better today than i have for a while (probably because i've have a huge sugar crave today and i've eaten three iced donuts and a cookie)

My Scan is on Hubby's 29th Birthday which is the 29th of this month (a sunday) i can't wait, my guesstimate should make me around 8 weeks, so we should see a heartbeat at least.

I've been Messaging with LucyLu, it's nice to share this experience with someone who kind of had the same journey (ie long cycles etc).

Got the results of hubbies tests back and everything is good on that front so that's one less thing to worry about. Just have to wait and hear from doctors now about my referral. I hope it's soon! still hasn't shown up! (on CD95 now!). My only worry now is that she'll show up before I get my appointment through with fertility dr and if they do give me something like clomid that i'll then have to wait another 3/4 months to take it as I read you take on certain days of your cycle - I'm just a natural worry wort I guess, but am trying to see the positive - it's just harder some days than others!

Somedays I just feel like why is it so easy for everyone else I know to get pregnant - and I feel like less of a woman because I can't get pregnant.

My sister has just had a baby (she's 3 weeks old!) and one of my SIL's in due in 3 weeks (with her last - she already has 2). My other SIL has 2 aswell and was talking the other day about when they will be trying for no 3 (probably by the end of the year) and she normally falls pregnant the first month they try, I just don't know how i'll cope if she gets pregnant and I'm not - I don't know if i'll be able to face her - and I love her to pieces - she has a heart of gold but nobody knows that we are trying and the difficulty we are having except my best friend (and she doesn't fully understand as she normally gets pregnant the first month as well!). So sorry if I go on abit it's just I need to get it out to people who understand where i'm coming from! x

Aly, I know exactly what you mean. SIL is due in June (she already has 3) and my sister's kids just keep getting older (she has 4). It seems like I'm constantly hearing about friends who are pregnant or seeing pregnant women. It's so difficult.

I have decided that I'm done putting my life on hold. I haven't really bought any clothes/bras in the past 9 months because I kept thinking I wouldn't be able to wear them very long. Forget about all that now! I am going shopping and buying some fabulous outfits. I should at least be able to enjoy them while I wait for my cycles to regulate. Besides, new clothes always make me feel good (and they'll give me an incentive to slim back down after a baby)...

Ooooo shopping! Sounds like a good idea to me. Might give that one a go myself.
Am trying now to concentrate on passing my driving test in May so that should keep me occupied for a little while. Have also signed up for the Race for Life in July (5K run/walk for Cancer Research - women only).

But it will be us someday SOON - beautifully pregnant in 2009!!!

Hellooeee, I am still lurking as well. Just been catching up with everyone's threads. Hope everyone is doing ok. Welcome to the new ladies! Hope to see some more bfp news real soon.

I don't post in the pregnancy forum half as much as I used to on our thread here. There are a lot of anxious threads over in the first trimester section, which is totally understandable, but I'm finding it hard to make me not overthink things so have a little selfishly been steering clear of B&B for a bit (except for mailing Littlestar! - hello lovey, how are you doing?!). Can't wait for the first scan and to get past 12 weeks so I can relax a little more.

Hi ladies I'm having a 50 day cycle this month. I have a doctor appt on March 25th...hopefully, she'll be able to give me something to help regulate my cycles a bit more.

Erised, my last visit was a long one too! They were short before that. I hope our hormones are changing!

I am doing okay. I am on CD18 today and I am going in for bloodwork on Thursday. I don't temp and I have given up on OPK's, so I don't know what the CD21 results will bring. If I did ovulate in past cycles, it wasn't until at least day 30. I doubt the results will be positive. If not, I will ask to go in again to test later. It's possible I'll start Clomid next cycle.
