Drakey!I hope everyone else is well!
Great news on the Scan - i'm officially 7w+3 today (matches to the least likely conception date but i'm not complaining) We saw a itty bitty heartbeat but it suddenly feels very real - we're ecstatic!
Also my Bils/GF is in labour as i write this so i'm almost a first time aunty too!

Do let us know -all- the details when your niece/nephew arrives. Hope labour won't be too hard on your SIL. Does she know the gender of the child yet? Or was she a team yellow?
Drakey, argh @ the witch. Hope she'll arrive before tomorrow, one can only miss so many trains. She's delayed, but she'll get there.
We went to see the apartment this afternoon, and we're both in love with it. Never though I would, as I'm definitely a house person. But as it's on 4 split levels, it feels just like a home when walking through it. It's so much bigger than either of us expected, and absolutely gorgeous. It was originally done up to be sold rather than rented out, but with the market crashing the landlord is now renting them (there's about 12 of them!) instead. Actually, it's rent to buy ... so if we'd want to buy it off him in a couple of years, he'd let us!
The estate agent was supposed to call us back today, which is why we didn't go see the house this evening. But she didn't ... so we'll give her until tomorrow morning, and if she hasn't called yet DH will give her a ring. We're definitely gonna try for one of these though. Fingers crossed!
Some of them won't be done until about a month from now, but we might be able to put down a deposit on it already, but start paying rent in a month. Which would be brilliant.

yeh witch really doing my head in, its just like brown cm.... keep thinking in the back of my head it may be baby implanting lmao ....... grrrr i just want it over and done with and out of the way... the waiting is driving me nuts now!

Nope, never heard of it BizyBee. Did the doctor mention it to you, or did you just find out about it online?

Am still hoping to ovulate naturally at some point before I go to doc's. Have been checking my CP over the last few days and it is really really high today (I can barely reach it) TMI I know - sorry! But am hoping that means that my body is really trying to ovulate - as it's never been that high before. So DH is in for some more
tonight!!! I know its a long shot but you never know! By my calculations if I am meant to have an 40 day cycle and I've missed ovulation on previous 2 cycles then I would be due to ovulation at around CD106ish - what do you think - does that make sense or am I being a total muppet!

I'm not certain how our body works after we've missed ovulation. I don't think there is a said time for it any more after that, it's just a whenever it feels like it. But high cervix sounds good though, hopefully ovulation is right around the corner for you =)

I am over the moon.
I also became a first time aunty today to a little boy - Jack Alfie
So i'm thrilled, though i won't get to see him until thursday/friday as i'm currently away for work.
also found out my Bro/gf is expecting a little girl! they've been out and brought loads of filly little clothes today.
so my dh is in for a treat tonight

Hello ladies, just catching up on posts again! Go for it Quail! - I never managed to spot more than a microscopic amount of EWCM the night before I ov'd (must have been the pre-seed that did the trick!) so you go for it girl! Fingers x'ed!
Drakey - how's it all going? Has af kicked in properly yet? Erised - that place you saw sounds lovely - hope it comes though.
And how are you doing across the pond Bizy Bee? Hope the clomid helps to kick start things. U deserve a break. Sounds like the consultants are being really supportive and giving you some answers.
We have some relieving news. Had our first scan on Friday and all looked ok. The baby's heart was beating away like crazy, I let out this huge sob in relief when I saw it (I had this crazy fear they would tell me there was nothing in there!). We saw its little arms and legs moving around and stretching out. It was unbelieveable... so much clearer on the screen than the photo they give you.
Think the nurse was a bit miffed I had been booked in so early. Someone booked me an appointment for exactly 11 weeks since my last af, even though we put it in the notes that I have long irregular cycles and was more like 9 weeks on. I toyed with changing the date but stuck with it - didn't realise that they can't do the Down Syndrome testing that early though, so we now get an additional scan in a few days time, which I am dead chuffed about but feel a bit guilty for (def would have changed the date if I'd have known they couldn't scan for that as early as 9wks).
Sorry I have officially hijacked our long cycles thread!!!! Really should start a journal but paranoid I will write too much personal stuff and give myself away!

Dr. wants me to take clomid days 3-7 and prometrium days 18-32. I guess it's a progesterone supplement that's supposed to sustain a pregnancy. I asked about it because I hadn't heard anything about it before.

I'm off to the estate agents in a minute to see if we'll be approved for the apartment or not. I don't dare get my hopes up yet, so we shall see how it goes. Apart from that I haven't got any plans, I'll probably sit here browsing the internet and putting stamps on envelopes (advertising campaign for a client). Fun times!

Thanks Erised - I hope i ov'd but like you said you don't know what the body does after missing an ovulation - play tricks on us I think!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed and trying to stay positive but also being realistic that it's more likely that my body is just have a joke at my expense. I hope you get news about the apartment soon - fingers crossed! Well done on your weight loss as well - you are doing brilliantly - are you following any type of plan or just eating healthily in general?
