blondeNklutzi, that must be frustrating indeed =/ At least it shows he cares though =) Are you having any luck with the symptom spotting at all btw?

who's_mummy, I noticed your FF has started a countdown and is expecting AF tomorrow. Sorry to hear it's another unsuccessful cycle hon. Hope you'll have more luck on the new one, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

BizyBee, acupuncture eh? Don't think there's any way I could get my DH to agree to that one, but keep us updated on how it worked out for you anyway =D If there's a massive difference this cycle or next I'll try and talk him into it, though I'd expect him to say it's because of the Clomid anyway

cqueenie, I really recommend temping if you don't already. That said, even then I mistook my ovulation cramps for AF last cycle even though my temp hadn't shown a previous ovulation. Either way, welcome!

I'm still getting negatives on the OPK, but I'm getting more and more CM again and there's a small line on the OPK's now! So I'm gonna try and get some bd'ing in every day for the next couple of days and hope that the line gets darker tomorrow.
Just checked, if I'd ovulate on the 11th (so in 2 days) I'd be due on the 4th of March ... So hopefully no chance of the child being born on my birthday (19th of Feb) anymore, hooray!

Argh! Days of lines sooo light that I even wondered whether they were just evap lines, then this morning an obvious line ... and now positive! Why so fast? I thought I'd have a couple of days!
Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled my body is working ... but I haven't had a lot of sex yet! And now it's probably too late as I already had the temp drop this morning (which I did think was odd) and already had the positive.
Oh well, best drag my DH away from work in a minute and hope we're still in with a chance ...

Thanks Erised and congrats on your OPK! My temp dropped right down yesterday so expecting anytime now. Have had what looks like EWCM today though, very odd!

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about grapefruit juice? (Sounds a bit random eh? lol!). I read on here somewhere that it can increase EWCM so last cycle I decided to try it, just a glass a day, within about 3 days I had EWCM and had O'd, this cycle I started a glass a day again and the same again, within a few days EWCM and O. I'm sure it must be coincidence because there's no way it can actually induce O is there?!! Off to see what Google says!

Gemma, I've also heard that grapefruit juice helps with EWCM but haven't tried it. I like it, so it probably wouldn't hurt to start!

Aly at least you can start over. When my cycle gets really long, I just feel like its wasted, even though I could in theory still ovulate (though I have read that after a certain point in the cycle ovulation is highly unlikely).

The nausea has passed, think I must have gotten something that didn't agree with me. Nipples getting really sore, but that happens intermittently during my cycle anyway. I have become convince I'm NOT pg.

But the cramping was about day 15 or 17 I can't remember so I figure I will test on day 35, nice even number.

Erised - I hope it doesn't last 3 weeks! - It is really heavy thou - which isn't surprising really considering I haven't had anything for 6 months - but am not complaining! Congrats on the positive OPK - there's still time - get your DH home and get BD!!!!

Blonde - fingers crossed for you! Thanks - I know what you mean re. long cycles - you just can't move on, it's so frustrating - you know your probably not gonna ovulate or anything but there's still that small glimmer of hope!

whos_mummy - I heard that too about grapefruit juice and tried it for about 2 days (as I hate grapefruit) but might give it another go now and just pretend its a glass of wine or something!!! Every little helps right!

Well the arrived as predicted virtually straight after my last post lol! I'm feeling ok now, onwards with fingers crossed for this cycle. My last two cycles were around 33 and 35 days (I think, I only checked two minutes ago, my memory is appalling!) so really hoping that they're going to settle down for a while, Blonde, I know what you mean about the long cycles, they do just seem like a waste of time.

I went to a toddler group with my youngest two yesterday and there was a lady there with a 7wk old baby - so sweet, and I managed to not get too jealous. I'm always aware that I'm lucky to have my boys when so many women on here are struggling to have their first.

Hopefully this means your cycles are gonna settle down. Shorter cycles=more cycles=more chances to ovulate, at least that's how I see it, lol.

Symptoms all gone. I think I may just be crazy. Still, I'm going to test in about 10 days, just in case.

I couldn't be more excited right now. It's been a year and I'm finally having a somewhat normal cycle! (Thanks to the Clomid, I'm sure). I got +OPK's today and it's only CD16. Yay, yay, yay!

Drakey, I have no idea what would be causing that hon. Might it be worth giving your GP or gynae a ring and ask them? I couldn't help but laugh the other day when I opened up your FF and the caption above your graph says '3rd cycle and still getting shorter yay'. I know it's a bad thing, but it was so not what I was expecting to find with you being over 100 days now. Hope you'll make some progress and enter a new cycle soon hon

My temperature confused the heck out of me yesterday, it was low! Now, as we all know, after ovulation your temperature is supposed to go up not down. I think I might have fallen asleep when taking it or something, as I can't think of any other explanation. I know that some ladies ovulate 2 eggs and there for have 2 dips within days from each other, but if this was the case surely my OPK's would still have come back positive? I don't know what happened, but I'm happy to report that today my temperature went up nicely. So, erm ... I'm hoping FF will give me an '4DPO' tomorrow, though I think it might be thrown off by the odd temperature too.

Well, FF has caught up and put my O date on CD20 ... do you ladies agree with FF? I got a negative OPK that day, so I'm really temped to think I actually ovulated on CD18 ... I had a positive OPK that day, a lot more CM and a massive temperature dip. Which day would you go for? Either way, a high temperature today that seems to confirm ovulation.

thanks erised, u got ur gyno appt 1st july too? what time? mines at 2.50pm.... wished i had a morning appt to get it out of the way, oh well suppose im getting the afternoon off work for it! .. i got my BP check up on wednesday with the nurse, im hoping things are ok, had a bit of a crack up last night and jst burst into tears. think OH now realises how much its getting to me.

1st Of July I have my first fertility clinic appointment. To be honest, I'm sure sure what the difference is between this and the gynae ones that I've had so far, apart from the fact that they can prescribe and do follow ups on Clomid which my gynae couldn't do. It's in the same bloody building though!

I can't find the letter right now with the time on it, and it's written down in MIL's diary
I believe it's 14:10 or something though. Yup, just realised I have it on my phone ... 14:10. So 40 minutes before yours, but I still have the morning wait. To be honest, I'll probably be asleep until late morning anyway so I won't have to worry/wonder too much. Plus I already have most of my answers, which makes the wait a lot easier than yours will be.
