My first was the same near enough. Waters went first. Labour lasted 4 hours 8 mins. I've been told that my next will be the same but probably faster. So hubby has agreed to a home birth as we probably won't make it to the hospital even though it's only a 5/10 min drive.

Anything is possible ica!

Ica- if ur supposed to wait for ur period due date to test then that test don't even count dear! Don't count ur self out yet, until AF shows ur in! If u can't believe that then why should I??? Come on, keep hoping with me! plus Mel didn't get hers til 2 weeks after her period was due, right?!

Red, Ica, Laura- I wanna read your birth stories, but I actually am afraid of that part, so I try to stay away from reading those things! Lol but no matter what any of you went thru, I'm proud of u! That is a feat!!! *applauds* hehe

Afm: I didn't test this morning, told myself I will def get my period late tonight/ early tomorrow if im not pregnant. That's CD 30 and I've never gotten it later than middle of the night before CD30. So I will test FMU if .
Im hoping i can hold it til hubby leaves cuz I really wanna play out my idea to tell him if I get a BFP... U think SMU would work if i am pregnant?
Oh, and I've been SUPER emotional recently, crying over the dumbest things, my poor hubby, dealing with me... ... So I'm hoping that's a sign, and I'm not a crazy person!!!

Corny - Nothing went wrong with my labour. I love being in labour even though it might not sound like it, lol. And I've always tested with SMU. Works better for me.

Glad to know SMU worked for you. Ill do that tomorrow then, when he leaves if no . Goodness, I hope she doesn't show!! But thinking about getting a BFP is still kinda scary for me... As much as I want one! Did u ever feel nervous about getting a BFP? Even if ur OH is okay with it??

Yeah, I'm in the UK. It's 1.55pm here. Nope I didn't feel nervous. Just excited when 2 pink lines came up.

I guess you're right corny! Can't help but feel like I'm not though! Although today it really doesn't feel like I'm gonna come on anytime soon!
I wasn't nervous about pregnancy/baby/motherhood/labour until contractions started hahaha! When I got my BFP I was so excited! I previously had a miscarriage though so kept all my excitement inside as I didn't want my other half to get too excited incase I couldn't carry so we both kept very neutral about it and hoped for the best until I hit 12 weeks! Then we were so ecstatic !
The labour was harder on him to be honest, although I had a not so great time it didn't feel like it was me.. Kinda out of body.. Really strange.. That's whats made him hesistant having another, I think I've mentally scarred him haha!
He'll get over it! Lol I did!

Im excited for it to happen, too. But nervous cuz we arent exactly planning on it right now.
I honestly cant wait to know if its a BFN or BFP! especially since i have you ladies now ti sharr with right after i tell my Hubby ... whatever month it happens in. Lol

If AF doesn't show.. What test should I use on Tuesday?

Clear blue.. Blue dye.. Heard a lot of false positive stories.. Not that I've ever experienced this... 4 days before AF test

First response... Heard they can give faint lines even when hcg levels are high.. Again never had a BFP on this test so don't know personally! 6 days before AF test...

Cheap shop brand test.. It's what I got both my BFPs on... At approx 1-3 days late from AF... Yet part of me still doesn't trust them...4 days before AF test or some are from after AF due...

I know it's really not a big deal but need some way to vent my poas addiction over the next two days!!! Haha!

Other half keeps talking about "our next one" and how we shouldn't wait too long! Hes brought it up several times now... really hoping that if im not pregnant we can really give it a go... And he even jokingly suggested buying a crib that I fell in love with in my local baby boutique as its a bargain! Maybe he's not as scarred as I thought! Lol

I always use the tests from the 99p shop. They're the only tests I will use. I think they're called Clear Response. Always given me a strong positive.

Ooh haven't tried that, didn't know the 99p shop did them!! Are they usually with the other toiletries? Or are they behind the counter?

I just got a bunch from early-pregnancy-tests.com. They came in real quick too. But I'm in the US so idk if it ships to UK.
I'm hoping they'll work just fine tomorrow and give me an accurate answer if AF doesn't!! if I get 2 lines, I'm gonna buy a digital one that says pregnant/not pregnant so I can show my husband. Hehe
this would be our first so I have no idea about the other tests... Did hear false pos for blue dye and that they aren't as sensitive and harder to see faint lines. Good luck deciding dear!

Can't wait for bed tonight just so tomorrow will come faster!! Hehe

With the toiletries. There's two different types, the strip type and the proper 'you pee on the end' type. I've used both. I think they're pretty good.

Thanks ladies! You are all so sweet! I'm so nervous AF will be a brat and show up a couple days late just to mess with me! I wish I started getting cramps like the day before she showed up or something so I would have an idea... But... Less than 24 hours left til I test...

Oh... So my poor husband sliced his hand open between his knuckles at work today and had to go to emergency room for a few stitches .... So he may not be going to that BMW auto-cross event in the morning... Which means I could use FMU... Then we could get to the place i wanna go to before church if I get my BFP. But hoping he can go, cuz then he will be out of the house when I take it, plus he loves those things haha men and cars...

I hate getting so excited cuz it's gonna shatter me if I get that darn instead...

Nope. Doesn't say. Checked the box, leaflet and the packaging the test is in. I know they work from about 2 days before AF is due.
