LOST: The Final Chapter - discussion/theory thread! **May Contain Spoilers!**

I'm curious about Walt as well. Him and Claire were two of my fave characters, hated how they didn't have them barely in the previous season.

I'm assuming that Non-Locke (whomever he was before he took over Locke's form) and Jacob are the Ying and Yang of the Island. So Non-Locke wanted to leave, but Jacob took the post to stay and 'protect' the Island, therefore Non-Locke had to stay. I'm still curious though, I remember way back in (was it the first season?) where Rousseau says that the 'smoke monster' is a defence system.

So, in remembering that... how does that mean if he's wanting to leave? Or because Jacob stayed to protect the Island then that meant he had to as well? I also think about how Jacob was in white, and the other guy was in black. Remember the black and white stones that the survivors found when they went to seek shelter in the caves? (again, Season 1).

Aaaaagh! So many questions!!!!!

Episode 6.04: The Substitute (Locke-centric)

* 10/11/09 - We learn of a connection between The Smoke Monster and MIB. Fake Locke gets an old friend to join his army. Ben lies to Illana about what happened inside the temple. Jacob is dead and his ashes are collected by someone whose name has 5 letters. Someone tries to persuade Sun to visit the temple claiming that Jin is there. Frank want to try and see if his plane on the other island will still work Sun insists they bury someone properly. Frank makes a comment about the "weirdest funeral ever." Ben makes a touching speech. Sawyer is drunk when he reunites with a familar face. Someone reveals that they know a lot more about the island than Ben. We find out that Jacob has a child. An old friend crosses paths with someone unexpected off island.


THAT'S who the kid is???????? I thought it might be a young Jacob, but wow!

I think it would explain a lot by watching the old series, there are probably load of clues we can find!

DO IT!!! Even if you just rent them, rather than buying (could get expensive). I have every season on DVD/Blu-Ray and I was trying to get my OH into watching it. We got to the 3rd season but he was like so I kept on going... there were SO many things that I was like: "Oh, right!" and then "OH!!!!" and then "OMG!!!!!!!"

I missed series 3 completely!! Got bored after the end of season 2 but back into it for series 4!!! I've probably missed loads, haven't I??!!!

Yes! Season 3 was my favourite, although I had a few friends who hated it. Its where it started to get into the more "mystic" stuff, rather than just mystery of the first two seasons. I still enjoyed it though!

like Tyff said thats where alot of people gave up on it, my OH did, but he says once we have them all on DVD he will watch them through!

I am going to put on so much weight with this LOST martharon, I have to eat Nachos every episode!

I'm like that too, but its Parmesan Popcorn. Nothing tastes better to me than buttery popcorn with Parmesan cheese sprinkled all over it.

In this week's episode, the last name of the Losties are on the ceiling of that cave. I didn't understand why there were numbers in front of their names, but it's the numbers! 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.
