LOST: The Final Chapter - discussion/theory thread! **May Contain Spoilers!**

where have they gone off the island.

i reckon its all the religions on one island and jacob went back to make them some kind of disciples or something along those lines. i change my theory everyday lol

But, I can put my stuff in spoiler tags, if you guys want. What is the latest episode that you guys have watched?

Warning: Gist of Full Episode! However, I didn't put all the neat things that happened in the episode.

Basic jist is that it follows the alternate timelines, this time focusing on Locke in the reality where Oceanic lands in LA without crashing. He's with that chickypoo (the one who left him when she caught him stalking his father's place) and they're getting married.

He gets fired from his job at the cardboard factory because he apparently lied and got the company to pay for him to go to Sydney to attend a confrence, not go on the walkabout. He runs into Hugo as he was leaving, who hooks him up with a temp agency.


On the Island:

Non-Locke is apparently 'recruiting', possibly for a replacement for Jacob. He makes the offer to Richard (who refuses) and again to Sawyer, who accepts. Sawyer follows him to this cave in the cliff, where it shows the "lists" that Jacob wrote. Non-Locke tells Sawyer that he has 3 choices: 1) Do nothing, and wait to see how this plays out. 2) Accept the position and become the "protector" of the Island or 3) Leave the Island with Non-Locke. Sawyer decides to leave with Non-Locke and the credits roll....

I know it doesn't seem like much, but I really really enjoyed this episode!

ooooo loving this thread! I love Lost but have to admit it has me completely baffled!! Can't wait for next episode tomorrow

My theory on the Sayid and Claire thing is that do you remember in season 2 i think, the others were taking about claire and her baby being infected etc...maybe that's it and maybe thats what happened to rousau and her people they turned evil and nasty because they were infected.

ye he was someone walked past hi on the street, but it didnt show if jacob was involved with him.

also in the latest episode, in the alternate timeline, the boss at the agency where Locke goes to get a job is Rose! Who still has cancer.

Rose then gives Locke a job in a school where Ben Linus is the history teacher! Hopefully we see a bit more of him, as Ben in the real timeline is boring when he isn't in charge!

I don't think they'll show Walt for a bit yet, he's grown up so much since the show started it's difficult for them to show him. Maybe a bit further down the alternate timeline?

Still loving the new series at the moment though!
