LTTTC BFP's by Mothers Day Thread! We Can Do This!!

Hey ladies!

In the TTC #1 thread I've seen a few threads for "BFP by Christmas" and I know that date is way too soon for most of us who are LTTTC and/or on treatments. So I decided to start a BFP by Mothers Day thread! Lets see how many BFP's we can get

I'll go first.

I'm 22, OH is 33. We've been TTC for 2 years and I just found out I have a Bicornuate Uterus and PCOS. I just had blood done for my insulin levels to see if I need Metformin. If the blood comes back fine, or if Metformin doesn't work after 3 months, then I'll be having an HSG and starting Clomid.

Mothers Day is 5 months away, we can do this!

Sounds good to me! Our Mothers Day is at the end of March, so a little bit closer than yours (I think) but I'm in, really hoping my third IVF, starting January, will bring me a BFP by mid march x

As pinkie says mothers day is end of march over here.
Hoping to get my bfp after having a lap and dye in october, I had a partially blocked tube unblocked and adhesions removed from ovaries, my consultant is very positive it will do the trick
Currently on CD3, after a lonnnnnng 58 day cycle! Which I am sure was down to the lap messing up system as my cycles are never usually that long!!
I have my follow up appointment on the 16th of december.
Excited to be starting a fresh but trying not to get my hopes up!

I'd be up for this! Can I join you ladies? I'm all about being positive and hopefully we'll all have something to celebrate this Mother's Day. I live in the UK, so Mother's Day is in March, but I think I'm going to default to the US one, to give myself a little more time.

Hi! I'm Ella, I'm 29 and DH is 31, and I've been TTC for 33 cycles/2.5 years (I had short cycles). We've been tested and after a HSG and an SA for DH, we're officially unexplained IF. Unfortunately, the NHS has decided that unexplained IF women can't do Clomid alone because the preg rates aren't shown to be much better than just TTC (which I'm not convinced about, but whatever), so I'm on my way to doing a medicated IUI in the new year. We've got an hour-long intake appointment on the 8th of January where we get all the info and they tell us what kind of meds I'll be on. Then we'll get the IUI/cycle monitoring all set up for Feb or March, depending on the waiting list. I'm looking forward to it, even though I'm scared of needles and the meds are definitely injectables. It will all be worth it in the end though, I'm sure.

In the mean time, it's just me, DH, a little bit of pre-seed, 400mg of progesterone to help my lining be more welcoming, and hope.

So here's to a natural BFP or an IUI BFP before Mother's Day!

I love it!

I am just finishing 3rd round of clomid. I will probably have to move to IUI or IVF soon. I am in the TWW...hoping to get a positive before 2014. However, I used a psychic for fun & she said January is the month I find out, get pregnant or deliver. If that is the case, then April is my key month after January...just in time for mother's day!

I have not done all my testing yet. Got blood work to check hormones today. But husband's analysis came back low.

DBZ34 - Sorry to hear you've been having such a hard time, but it's good that you guys have a game plan! I'm certain all the needles and testing will be worth it when you finally get to see that BFP.

Hey everyone...

Well, I am on cd 30... no idea when I ovulated which is annoying. Got some symptoms, but don't I every month! A few hot flashes which are unusual though, but who knows....
Think I might POAS tomorrow...can't hold out any longer! But hate the big fat white space...

My hormone levels came back normal...so hopefully we are only dealing with a low sperm count.

My hormone levels came back normal...so hopefully we are only dealing with a low sperm count.

That's go good to hear that your levels are normal! Are they able to give your man anything to help his count? I've heard that doctors have tried using Clomid on men to increase sperm counts, but I'm not sure how effective it is.

Well it's been a week since my blood test and I didn't get a call from my doctor, so that means my insulin levels must be fine!

Now I just have to wait for my January 2nd appointment so he can give me something to start my period and we can book the HSG. Then it's finally Clomid time!

I have to call my specialist when AF starts to book the HSG, if AF doesn't come he'll give me something to start it on Jan 2nd.

I've been having steady spotting for 4 days, always a lot of brown CM but no blood yet. I've never had this happen before, usually when I spot it's only for an hour or so and then AF comes full force. Could this steady spotting count as AF, should I call the specialist?

You may want to call just to let them know what is happening...but typically they will only consider a heavier red flow your period. Is there a chance you are pregnant now? Some women have spotting when they should be having a period. In case you didn't know, the reason they want you to wait is because they will only do an hsg after your period & before you ovulate...making sure you are not pregnant or have an egg coming (I think on that egg thing).

I took a HPT, it was BFN.. So it seems my body is deciding to just change things up this cycle lol

Well I had my follow up appointment today.

If I dont get my bfp within a year I will be referred for ivf with another year on the waiting list. My consulant did say that everything now looks good though and thiinks there shouldnt be any problems in getting my bfp within the year, so its just a matter of waiting and hoping it happens. But for some reason I dont feel very positive about it all
