I'm rubbish at dooyoo, just don't have the time to write a good enough review and then when I sit down of an evening I want to fall asleep!
Can just about manage to answer survey questions :haha:

As i packed up my order, i remembered this thread. If any of you have any old books/dvds/cds/games (in good condition) you can sell them to one of these companies for a little cash.

I've never used them before but all three companies have good reviews online. You jut enter the barcode/isbn number on their site and it'll tell you how much an item is worth, then when it adds up to £10(2 of the sites) or £15(the 1st site) you agree to the deal, pack up the stuff in a box and print a freepost label. you just take them to a local collect plus location/post office. They check the items against their guidelines and send transfer/chq.

On the three sites, my stuff added up to around £40, of which was stuff that i was trying to sell on ebay but it's no longer worth paying all the fees for. hope this helps someone. x

Thanks for this! Are the books worth much each? I have a few kids books to get rid of and selling them on eBay is a pain! X

Some of my books went for 20/30p and others for £1/£2, it all added up. I saw no consistency in what they were choosing or refusing so i tired all three of these websites and the books were all kinds of things, some of the sites wouldn't take a book and then others would both take it for different prices.

This was worth it to me because with ebay, i didn't realise until recently that they took money from sale amount AND p&p. It's bad enough that postage is so high it barely covers it, not to mention packaging, but if the postage was over by a little bit, after the fees, loads of things that i sold for 0.99 made around 50/60p profit. That aside, if i added up how many fees i'd totaled through listing at a higher price or re-listing multiple times, i probably didn't make money on many things, yet wasted time with photos and listing.

I just did a check for a bunch of stuff on music magpie. .. might check those links too for comparison, thanks!

Cashed out my first VO paypal, got £14 out and that paid for an imaginext calendar and scooter for DS from Smyths. Should have been around £50 but with sale price, a £5 of voucher and my paypal I paid only £5 delivered!
:happydance:

I'm making these to get a bit of extra cash and also giving as gifts :D
