Matalan or Mataland?

Matalan... I only know 1 person who calls it Mataland & its my DH's cousin who is as thick as 2 short planks so everyone takes the mick out of him & says Mataland when he is around but they know its not called that iyswim? x

I've started saying 'Premark' as its different.

And as for matalan im odd as I always refered to it a matlans (as in maplans)

I generally call places by their proper names, but I must admit I ed when someone said they'd been to Bon Marches! They'd obviously never got the gist of how it's pronounced.
