Can anyone explain what this means please?

'26 weeks service at 15 weeks ewc'

I scribbled it down quickly yesterday from our online employee handbook. I am on probation for 3 months so don't want to actually ask someone in the company

It means you need to have worked for them for 26 weeks by the time you are 15 weeks away from your due date- Ewc is expected week of childbirth

When you hit 25 weeks of pregnancy, you would of had to work for them for 26 weeks already.

I think as long as you have worked for them at least a couple of weeks before you conceive then its fine :)
