May 2017 Testers - 59 Mother's Day Hopefuls & 14 BFPs so far

I see it soph! When I was unknowingly pregnant back in December I had brown spotting the day af was due (initially thought it was af starting but then it stopped and that's what prompted me to test)
Sorry to hear that ladyapril:(

I'm sorry April. AF always blows. I'm sure I'll be joining you in another week's time

Congratulations Lily and Soph!!!!

Sorry April, that blows.

So yesterday I spotted enough to cover a pantyliner throughout the day, and the blood was red. This morning I took another test (someone should take them away from me) and it's the darkest one yet, but the bleeding seems to have picked up? Or else it just "pooled" all night long so it seemed heavier this morning. Regardless - this isn't how my AF usually starts. Not sure if this leaning towards a chemical, or if there's a bad batch of Easy@home tests... What do you guys think?

I feel for you and the spotting confusion. I for sure see the line there and this looks like a BFP. Hopefully the bleeding stops ASAP!

Ranch, that's positive. Some women spot pretty heavy when pregnant. Hopefully, that is the case with you. Keep testing for darkening tests. fx

I really hope so! It's just so RED... and more than I thought implantation bleeding would be, but definitely less than a period. This is so strange!

Well, as you are already getting positives it wouldn't be IB but some women get spotting and light bleeding when pregnant. If you keep getting positives, darkening that is most likely the case with you. Tell your dr about the heavy spotting when you schedule an appointment. It could just be normal and will stop or you may be one that gets light bleeding on and off or sadly it could be a chemical. Only time will tell.

5 dpo (assumed), nothing to report here yet.

Congratulations to all ladies who received their BFPs so far!

Ok question ladies, I apparently have skipped my period and have an appt with a specialist on the 17th. Should I test for ovulation this month? If I do should I go ahead and start testing now? I have never bothered to test until I start back up because I have gone up to 3 months without a period (This was my first period after skipping 2 1/2 months  ) and it just never seemed to make sense in my mind. What are your thoughts? Wait until I go to my appt or just go ahead and start testing again. If I did have AF I would either be done or at the end of it right now.

Queen Cheshire! I have a good feeling about this month for you! It's not uncommon to get pregnant right away after an HSG. My doctor said "it's like blowing your nose for your fallopian tubes." It's worked for lots of ladies I know!

As for the OPKS - it's fairly normal to get a few positives in a row, but you use the first one as the onset of the LH, and assume ovulation within 12-36 hours of the first one.

Fingers crossed for you!

Thank you! I've heard so many awesome stories about ladies getting pregnant right after an HSG so I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed! So far this cycle feels hopeful!

I wish you luck with yours! It seems incredibly frustrating with the situation you're currently in. Will you be testing soon again?

Congratulations lily! Definitely looks like a bfp to me!
Dream Fx the witch stays away.
Afm: 2dpo nothing exciting to report.
I have taken up ballet after a long 10+ year hiatus so I'll be doing that twice a week so I'm hoping that will help get me through the tww

Ah! A fellow ballerina! Maybe that's what I need to do during my TWW, take some classes. Haha, the pain I'll be in after not taking an official class for so long will definitely take my mind off it :laugh2: I teach but I haven't taken a CLASS class for myself in...wow...so many years! Good luck to you!

I tested today and got this at 12dpo but wont be excited until I test again on May 3. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations Lily! I'm so happy for you! :happydance:

I had my appt with my OB today to discuss removing polyps and long story short it seems we're going to wait until another cycle after this one and if I still don't have any luck then we're going to do a surgery to 1) remove the polyps, 2) do a dye test to check my left fallopian tube again, and 3) if the tube is damaged/blocked beyond repair then we will remove it.

So of course I am REALLY hoping that after nearly 1.5 years of TTC #1 that I will magically be pregnant before I would need this surgery because I'll admit, removing the tube sounds just...:nope:

I should be around 4 dpo. Too early for major symptoms but I have just started having some light, stretchy cramps....which are probably in my head #-o

So much love to all the ladies who have been visited by AF already and good luck to everyone still waiting!

WTH!!! AF just hit me! Looks like I will be testing at the end of the month. Here's hoping this cycle won't be as wonky and I won't be 2 weeks late. Ugh. Just glad it's finally here and I can finally get geared up for cycle #8.

Thank you queen, I'm really enjoying it so far! A little nervous about my class this morning as it's supposed to be faster paced than the class I take on Tuesday evenings. It's definitely helping with the tww so far!
I have my fx for you that it doesn't come down to having your tube removed, I can't even imagine the thought of that :(

Sorry about af cews :( but at least you now know you can move on to another cycle. Best of luck!

I'm 4dpo today too! Nothing exciting to report either lol trying to tell myself to wait until at least Monday to start testing

cews have you always had such irregular cycles? It might be worth having the doc check into it if you haven't already. Sorry about AF!

Well ladies I'm feeling next to no pms symptoms this month, aside from Monday when I was super duper irritable. Last couple cycles my bbs ached (like bad) from 6 dpo onwards. I figured it was due to the femara as its not something I typically deal with. Well I took femara this cycle too (same dose and days as last 2 cycles) and I'm not feeling anything. Bbs feel completely normal and I'm not having any other pms symptoms. I've never been pregnant (as far as I know, I never test) so I have nothing to compare to. All I know is some cycles I have crazy pms and some cycles I have nothing at all, and either way I always end up with AF lol
