Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

What do you mean by pass up? Lol why were they acting like that? Its odd, you'd been away, what a day!? :hugs:

Oh no thata awful! :( Favouritism is a horrible thing to do to kids, have you said anything? Hopefully it stops by the time Ava understands.

:happydance: well done Anja!! I really hope Elidhs weigh in goes ok tomorrow hun, will be thinking of you.

Milos Im sorry Ava is being passed up, is it maybe because they are worried to show too much attention to Ava and leave Milos out, so they over compensating/ Hope it doesnt last hun xxx

congrats Anja :yipee:

yeah, i hope it doesnt last too long. i think it's just because she's so young still and you have to hold her so much. and with milo they can run around and play with him, so it's more hands free. still makes me mad though!

Mummy- there's roughly 400 grams in a pound- so they want to see just under a pound of gain in a two week time, something like 9 lbs 10 oz? (I think)
Good luck at the way in, will have fingers crossed for NO TUBE!

edited to correct myself- (googled it:) )

1 pound = 453.59237 grams
20grams a day for 14 days is 280grams
280 g = 0.617294 lb OR 0 lb and 9.87 oz
Making total 9 lbs 5.87 oz

Good job Anja!!

Good luck with Eilidh's weight today, mummy!!

Milos, we feel the same way when it comes to Zoe and Isaiah. My mom ALWAYS calls and asks for Zoe, but never for Isaiah. Her excuse is always different...Isaiah doesn't sleep well at night, or we have girls this weekend and he's bossy. It's frustrating as hell, and I'm worried about when he starts to feel this favouritism toward Zoe. I understand she's special needs, but that's not an excuse to not have him over for a night.

Anyway, hope you ladies are well!!

Brandi:hugs: hope that the favouritism passes, nothing worse! Hope you're ok?

New, hope you're feeling better too?:hugs:

Heyy, thanks:hugs:

So it went pretty well, she's 9lb 6oz now and up from 8lb 12oz on their scale so the tube escaped:happydance: BUT they want to do tests now, she has to get a whole load of blood drawn, stool tests and they are getting us a neurologist for her tone incase its something like cerebral palsy. As for now we are back home though:thumbup:

Glad you are back home. How long will the tests and reults take? xx

Should have the blood/stool results at our next appointment on the 16th, making the neuro now. Have to go all the way into Phoenix for it:dohh: the stool test involves this weird patch thing, I have to use the cardboard scooper thing and rub it on and thats going to show if there's blood there, guarenteed to go everywhere that one!

How's you and Sam doing?:flower:

Keeping everything crossed for you. :hugs:

We are good thank you, we have a laugher now. :D xx

Glad your home, and YAAAAYYY for avoiding the tube!!! Well done Eilidh and well done mummy! I hope the tests come back ok hun :hugs:

I am so sunburnt! It wasn't even that sunny today, I'm even burnt on my shoulders... which were covered!!! I look like I have dunked myself in hot water, lmao!

Bethany and Dylan are doing great, Dylan is being a bit iffy and is playing up a abit, but he was back to his happy self for most of today, we even avoided the bedtime battle today! Bethany is so smiley and chatty, but I am 99% sure she has started teething as she is a bit dribbly and grouchy :(

I was so upset last night, mr n mrs crazy's baby (who is no older than 10 days old) was SCREAMING its head off for over 30 mins while they were in another room chatting away, I just wanted to run up there and give that poor baby a cuddle :(

Awww 24 thats so cute! What gets him laughing the most?

Wiggler, that poor baby :( Would it be worth speaking to ss? Lol at the sunburn! How hot is it? We were out in the heat, mooching around the shops after Eilidhs visit and its burning here but I had the sun spray covering us every 2mins:haha: Glad Dylans so happy, eek at teething though!

Us clapping is hands together and cheering "yaaaaaaaayyyyy" at him. He loves praise, bless him.

Hi wiggler. xx

Lol bless him:cloud9: Might try that with Eilidh and see what she does:haha:

Hiya 24/7!!!

I'm not going to ring SS unless I hear that happening again, I have a feeling that they might be sleep/feeding training that poor baby :( I just don't get how they could chat so casually when their brand new baby was crying like that :(

Oh yea, just remembered... UK ladies... Iceland have Ben and Jerry's for £2 a tub!!!!

I'm not sure how hot it was here today, but my flat is at LEAST 10 degrees hotter than it is outside. its like a furnace. I've actually adjusted to the heat in here and think its cold outside now :(

I was much more social today which is a HUGE step for me, I'm going to go out for a drink with my friend upstairs at some point, or even just go up to hers and have a glass of wine, and next saturday I think I am going to see the girl next door to hang out one evening. I can't wait! Dylan and her son are both starting nursery in jan, and on the same days so it'll be nice for us to be friends as our kids are going to be at nursery together :)

24, I tried it, she looked worried then puked:dohh:

Wiggler, thats great you're getting out and about making friends:hugs::happydance: Thats just so sad about that baby, a 10 day old baba cant be trained!

Sam loves it, we had some professional pics done yesterday and he just beamed through them all, little poser. :D

Sounds like you are doing well wiggler. xx

Wiggler sounds like loads is going well there :)

Mummy fantastic news about Elidh, hope the other tests and results are quick and all ok :hugs:

24 how cute is Sam!!! lol George loves clap hands, but hi giggles when you say, 'hiya, what you doing' lolol Im sure he is laughing AT US lol stupid adults with stupid grins saying hiya over and over :haha: Hmmmmm how do i explain this lol but he also giggles so so much when I hold his knees while they bent and sort or clap his legs together lol With or without his nappy on his thinks its hillarious, oh and bouncing his bum up and down during nappy change ha ha oh there is so much, he is so easiky pleased lol

My dress is finished ladies :happydance: Well my bit is, she is tidying it up and putting the lining in etc but it fits and is all reshaped yay! In the end she had to totally start over the top half again and cut out 3 inches! Took 7 hours but we sorted!

Hope everyone is well, Im a little better I think, might just be simmering as it hasnt totally gone and Im still coughing up green mucus :( Righty-o its been a long day and I need sleeps lol Hope everyone is well xxx
