Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

 There is a big spider in my hallway and its over 3 hours til OH gets home for lunch!! Dylan come running in yelling "spider spider bug bug" and laughing and I went and had a peek and its a biggun  So we closed the door so the spider "doesn't get lost so daddy can take him home later" I hate spiders!!!!

Wiggler:hugs: We had a cricket in the house again earlier  Hope you got your bug!

New:hugs: Hope you feel better soon. Yay for the dress and losing the inches:happydance:

Eilidh had the physio and a developmental specialist round to see her today from the early intervention program and we have a plan now:thumbup: They tested her and she hit her milestones for communication and social/emotional, getting a score of 3-5months:cloud9: For fine motor and cognitive(which is like playing/learning) she got 0-2months so a moderate delay and for gross motor described as more than 2 standard deviations below the norm :( Also aparently she has moulding on the right side of her head from not being able to move:nope:

Some good news though, my hubbys review went well and he got a raise:happydance: He will get another 10% in january too and a 10% bonus, makes the giant move at 7m preg worth it! Although its all going to go on medical bills

Do they have any ideas of what might be causing it mummy?
Well done hubby!! xx

Hubbys very pleased with himself lol

Its either caused by or is causing the failure to thrive. My instinct is she has cerebral palsy, would explain the physical delay, constipation and slow weightgain also she was at risk with being preemie. Will know for sure whats up after the blood/stool/neurologist though:thumbup: She literally cant control any movement and just flops, she doesnt even try and reach or anything but she will talk and interact great:cloud9:

Hows your day been hun? Is it warm in the UK atm?:flower:

I dont really know much about CP - But fingers crossed its very mild. :hugs:

It was 30C here today, so for us English, like being in the desert. xx

:haha: I really do live in the desert, 112 degrees today so 44.5 degees C:wacko: 30 is really hot for the UK tho!

I cant even imagine, its been yucky here!! xx

They have been issuing excessive heat warnings, we're just staying in with AC on but yeah its horrid. you burn and sweat pretty much the second you go out.

Hi Lisa!

New, sounds very girly, enjoy getting pampered!

Eilidhs got an appointment at the lab at 3 45 to get her blood drawn, dreading it:nope: Also had some mastitis so antibiotics again, thankfully thats passing.

Anyone know anything about rashes? My little guy woke up with one today, he has no temp or signs of illness and the rash is itchy. Its all over him, like tiny slightly raised pinky/red dots, no blisters

No, no one told me, but my post was never approved. I think I figured it out anyway...

Ooh please tell!

So quiet here :(

We took Ruaridh to urgent care, his rash is hives apparently its his antibiotics he takes daily suddenly doing this. The docs son also had this happen so we were so lucky to figure it out so fast:thumbup:

Eilidhs blood taking was awful, horrid seeing her in pain. She has an appointment to get the other half of the blood taken on wed, she was too small to get all they need in one go.:flower:

Aww mummy bless them ;( Good luck for Wednesday!
