Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

He's up every 3/4 hours, its just months of not sleeping catching up with me, zzz!!
He has little times where he seems upset for no reason, but it doesnt really seem to be bothering him, thankfully!! xx

Wow little man coated me, him and my mums sofa in projectile vomit, just as my mam brought my lunch to me.. urghhh lolol Plus meant complete shower, clean up and change when we were supposed to be eating quick and setting off back to Wales lol He is ALWAYS sick like that if he feeds for longer than 15 minutes. Ive tried feeding him, winding him and putting him back on if he wants more after a short break, but makes no difference. Under 15 minutes and no sick, and he very rarely feeds more than 15 minutes so its not a major issue, but he needs to start feeding a bit longer, or more often for his weight gain!

Hope Sam starts going a bit longer in the night for you hun xxxxx

Wud, gorgeous siggie:cloud9:

24:hugs: Hope you get a bit more sleep. I have to get up with Eilidh during the nightand its tough, worse considering she would actually sleep thru if left!

Wiggler:happydance: Yay for them sleeping! The fair sounds awesome, Dylan should love it. Will you be getting extra Bethany snuggles in?

New, oh dear, babies have the best timing:dohh: Yay for the dress, great feeling to lose those inches:happydance:

Had the GI doc on the phone an hour ago. WIth Eilidh's gain slowing down they wont leave it till the 16th august to go back there, they want us in on tuesday even though the nurse is back a week later. They have an eye to admitting her :( she was sick about a week ago( all 4 of them were ) so I'm going to stuff her with everything and cross fingers!

She just had a 30min breastfeed and then 4oz from the bottle:wacko: Shes talking to the tv lol.

Milos, our insurance is a ppo through hubbys work. We dont need to see a pcp for referrals we can just make them ourself:thumbup: would defo try get the develomental ped though:hugs:

Good luck for Tuesday Mummy feed her up lol x

ugh, i'm about ready to go crazy on my in-laws! today my FIL went as far as calling me lazy. they were saying that we need to clean up around their house and do things like the dishes. uhh, why would i clean YOUR house? i pick up anything i leave around before i leave and i make sure milo's toys are picked up. sorry that i'm not gonna do your guys's dinner dishes. it's not my house. he just kept mentioning how much time i have on my hands. and that it doesnt matter how much time i spend with the kids, it doesnt mean that thomas has to help just because i've had them all day. i'm about to go all crazy bitch on them if they push one more button. my FIL is known for being abusive and will lash out (physically). but i'm honestly not scared of him. i WILL stand up to him. i've done it before. i think it just amazes me that some men still think they're superior over a woman just because of gender. i am a srong willed WOMAN, that doesnt mean i have to be scared of men. i will go against any man that stands in my way. my FIL and MIL hate it because she's always had to wait on my FIL hand and foot or he'd get mad. and since i dont do that to thomas, they think i'm some lazy bitch. i think they forget what it's like to have 2 young children at home. ontop of worrying about things like the bills, milo, my own health, etc :dohh: i dont wanna cause drama, but they're seriously going to make me say something i might regret.

Hope your night shift goes quickly for you wud:hugs:

milos, eek! Is there any way you can move out of there? I think I'd go mad in that situation:hugs:

I just tried expressing for the first time, omg never again!! Half an hour and less than half an ounce later my nipple is tender! I know a different pump might make a difference, but I dont want to start building up the expense. I was expressing just to get some milk to mix with rice feeds (well today was a practice to see how easy/hard it is lol). Im not trying to express enough for a feed. Ive decided I will mix the rice feeds with formula lol It has also made me think about long term when I go back to work,. i was thinking to use a trainer beaker (not quite a bottle not a cup) when he goes to nursery for his milk feeds, Im going to use formula for that feed lol I will introduce it after 6 months when I introduce foods, and I will give him formula for one of his feeds once a day in it, so when he goes to nursery he is used to formula taste and the beaker.

I didnt expect my milk to come flowing out and fill the container or anything, but I am genuinely shocked at how difficult it was to try and get the milk to pump out at all. I thought as I have been EBF for 11 weeks my supply seems good I would get the 1-2 ounces needed for the rice feed, I didnt get close lol

New, it could be because you've been exclusively bfing your body is well aware ofthe difference between the pump and George sucking so its harder to get milk. I'd suggest just keep at it esp when you're extra full.:flower:

Aww gorgeous piccy!!!

I have been (stupidly) feeling really guilty since Bethany had her jabs, she was so upset, crying her heart out, nothing would calm her so I gave her calpol as I thought she was in pain, it helped and she calmed down, but I feel like crap cos I was so proud that all she had was my booby juice, and now thats not the case :( I'm such a div!!

FINALLY getting out tomorrow, we are going to see our friends and they are doing us lunch, then mooching round the shops, I can't wait. OH even put some money aside for me to splurge in Wilkinsons (my fave shop) YAY!

hopeful - such a cute picture :D

mummy - that's the thing, we dont live with them! but they expect me to clean their house. that's what makes me mad. and the fact that he called me lazy. i guess now we know how he feels about stay at home moms.

Milos, OMG thats awful! You dont even live there and they are acting like you're some kind of servant:nope: Anyway you can visit less? :hugs:

Hopeful, cute pic!

Wiggler:hugs: babies usually need calpol hun, dont feel bad for helping Bethany feel better:hugs: Have fun in wilkinsons, when I last went there about 2 years ago now, I was 26 and got ID'd to buy kids cutlery:haha: :dohh:

Sending DH out to buy burgers and ice cream to er increase the calorie content of my milk

Bloody hell milos! Iwould stop visiting if that were me, how rude! It's their house and they should clean it, not you!

Mummy- in addition to upping your calories, you need to GORGE on proteins- Good luck!
Milos- I can't stand the attitude that if your a SAHM you don't do anything :growlmad:
Hopeful- I can't see the picture :(
Wiggler- Yeah for shopping trips! :happdance:

Hubby just got his first paycheck after raise and schedule change and it's about 1/3 bigger than before!!! :happydance:  :happydance: I can't WAIT to get caught up on bills/obligations! (and to go shopping )

Morning :)

Im poorly sick :( My voice is very broken and throat is raw, George gets upset when I talk to him :( Is he at higher risk of getting my bugs from BFing? Im hoping I will be fit and healthy really quick, although I have the classic cold symptoms I actually feel good lol so hoping thats a good sign. Dont want to be sick for the wedding, yikes!

milo's speech therapist and the service coordinator came today. at first he cried when they came into the house. then after a few minutes he calmed down. she played with him and took notes. had him put the shapes in places and showed him animals. tried to get him to look at a book but he had no interest. the therapist asked the coordinator towards the end of the metting "have they done an ASQ3?" (autism screening questionaire) she said yeah, scores came back high. i think they said that thinking i dont know what an ASQ3 is. lol. i'm just feeling better that i dont seem like a crazy woman insisting her child has autism. i knew i was right, but was waiting for a professional to back me up. they said last week his report came through, but they're not sure if it was sent to Milo's pedi. then the therapist said she'll check, and if it wasnt she'll send it so i can get his referral to the developmental pedi.

so glad we got the ball rolling now!

Wud, sounds like a fun weekend!

Milos:hugs: Did you go round?

New:hugs: Hope you feel better. The bfing hopefully will save George from the worst of a lurgy.

Hey:happydance: Yay for the payrise! My DH is waiting to hear about his, they moved his review to this week. Thanks for the protein advice, will try that. What you shopping for first?

Eilidhs weighin is tomorrow, sooooooo nervous. If she's not gained enough we get the tube:nope: The nurse said they want 20g a day, last time on their scales she was 8lb 12oz, that was 2 weeks ago, any idea what she would need to be? We're told to get the tube she has to stay inpatient for a couple of days to teach us, goodness knows how you fit that in with 4 kids!

lol. yeah we went and they acted like they havent seen milo in years. they tend to pass up ava :?
