Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

it is, but dont touch it until the day its due!!! thats best way to handle payday switches xxx

He was 50cm when he was born, so not that short!! He has heavy bones like OH, you can tell by feeling his arms and legs - Nobody can believe he weighed so much, haha!! xx

Thats the thing that sucks, we have to, we paid the £40 we owed to the local shop off yesterday which has put us £40 behind :dohh: and we forgot to get me some breastpads too :haha: I'm just going to put extra into the shopping money.

Ooooh, just checked the calander, OH gets paid on Saturday too. YAY! Fingers crossed he gets paid more than I thought, I need to free up some money on the card for emergencies!

I didnt settle into uni very well, trying to commute on the X43 every day from rossendale, had to leave the house at 5am and walk an hour to the bus stop, then work every evening to pay for my flat, wasnt getting home until 11pm-midnight... oops! Thats what happens when you let a man dictate your life!

Jen-itals?:dohh:

Wiggler, credit cards scare me. I know we could get one but I would be way too worried. Awww at Bethany, I love the baggy clothes look too:cloud9:

think id need to put george in joshuas clothes to get the baggy look pmsl

The credit card has been a lifesaver, when we have accidentaly run up a HUGE bill at the shop (I hate that the shopkeeper gives us credit) and then needed something, and when Dylan refused to walk in town and we could get the buggy and the sling/wrap thing. I just need to learn not to max it, luckily the limit is really low and if they ever try to increase it I'll just ring up and refuse. But I am deffo going to fix my awfullness with money, I want to start saving!

I think we're getting thrush. Latching and feeding burns like a mother and the burning is worse between feeding. There's no signs in Anberlin's mouth yet, but I'm pretty sure that that's what we're getting.

If you are i wouldnt wait until Anberlin has symptoms to get it sorted hun, it could spread to the other breast then you'll be in double pain again!

 at George in Joshuas clothes.

Wiggler, yeah its the high amount of debt you can get in. I know DH can get a card with $15k limit, now thats a whole lot of debt!

Brandi, news right, go get treatment! :hugs: Feel better.

Ouchies Brandi :hugs:

$15k, I wouldn't even know what to do with that sort of money

Fingers crossed I can come online on Saturday and tell you all how good I have been with the money we got :haha: I need you ladies to tell me off if I have been naughty!

George is so clingy today, he has only slept if Ive held him. he was getting hot in my arms so i just literally put him down a minute ago, and he is awake and fussing already, before today he has slept so well on his own, Ive made a point of not lifting him too much so i dont need to when Joshua is about. He not happy tonight though awww

Aww bless him, I hope he settles soon :hugs: I pop Bethany in her wrap when she gets like that, she hates being put in and really grizzles, but as soon as she is in and snug she calms down and pops off to sleep :cloud9:

Lol wiggler I'd spend it on crap is the problem!

Awww poor George:hugs:

I'm completely broke until Tuesday. I have a $45 nipple cream with antifungal that I was supposed to be using over the past two weeks but couldn't afford until a few days ago, then Anberlin 's reflux meds came up which were $50, so that came first over the nipple cream. My credit card is maxed as is my bank account. I couldn't afford Isaiah's RESP this month because of Anberlin's medication and I don't get paid again until Tuesday.

To go along with the burning, it happens when I pump too. My nipples are bright pink and look like a smooth kind of shiny and Anberlin likes to pull off and go back on during feeds. Now I wonder if all her screaming is thrush pain rather than GERD and I just wasted money.

I dont think you wasted money Brandi, it could be both but more likely the GERD. is there noone you can get the $45 from?:hugs:

We can borrow from my husband's credit line but we'd rather not. This whole lack of income thing really sucks. Her reflux meds would have been cheaper if she was covered by my husband's benefits, which don't run out until the 31st, but because she was born after he was laid off, they wouldn't let us add her to the benefits. We'll be much better once our baby bonus increases next month and Zoe's disability benefits kick in, and when our tax return comes back.

Guess I'll put in a call to the midwife tonight.

I ould borrow from the credit line, you know you have money coming and thrush hurts:hugs:
