Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I'm so happy today. When i went home from the hospital I only weighed 6lbs less than I did going in. Today I lost 3lbs, so finally at 10lbs of weight loss. I know it's not a lot but it's 10lbs closer to my goal. For the first time Liam slept for a 3 hour stretch instead of waking every hour. It's amazing how getting 3 hours of straight sleep after not sleeping for a week can make you feel so refreshed. Feeling lots of uterus aches/ stitches pain today. I'm trying to wean myself onto a lower dose of ibuprofen so that could be why.

24/7- hope your able to take a nap.

Lucky- congrats! 10lbs is a great start! :happydance:

Wild- hope you can catch a nap later

Wiggler and Milos- happy 4 weeks to your little ladies :)

my girlies are 7 weeks today! I decided it was time to get out and walk to encourage this weight loss- we decided to walk down to the store to get coffee :coffee: - got the girls loaded up and struck out! AND.... didn't even make it 1/4 of the way before we had to go back and get the car! :dohh: Dang my pelvis!

Hi ladies :)

Happy month birthday to Ava, and 4 weeks to Bethany! Goes way to fast huh!

I hope Sam learns to pee in his nappy 24 lol Does he pee in huge volumes? Have you tried changing nappy brand? Another brand may fit better for him.

Lucky well done on the weightloss hun! Hope the achey pain doesnt hang around!

I didnt bring anything here for George to rest in, at home he loves his pillow on the sofa and sleeps really well there, Ive brought it with me but my mum's sofa is slippy and its not as safe, plus not as much spare room. Anyways he been a bit cranky today, feeding hourly not sleeping much, but also his routine is to pot as he is used to our busy lifestyle and today we havent even been outside so, Ive brought his hammock down from the bedroom and little man is finally taking a rest, he has been asleep almost an hour now :)

 Back again!

We had great fun, lovely company. Eilidh growth spurted, put her on scales there and it said she was 8lbs :happydance: I lost 6lb in a few days though so guess need up the calories. Hubby missed the flight as he was delayed in LA so I had to do all kids on my own again and we were running late, last on:blush: This probably makes no sense but Ive had barely any sleep.

Wiggler, the phone game problem would piss me right off:hugs:

Heyy, Im sorry about the milk, really hope you can work something out:hugs:

New, gallstones are horrid, little george is adorable!

Brandi I wouldve murdered the fil, what a cruel thing to do to little Isaiah.

Milos:hugs:

Wild, you had sprout yet?

24:hugs: You're doing well! Sam can pee for britain:haha:

Lucky, hope you get some rest. Afterpains can be very painful.

Glad you hada fab time hun!

 Bethany has a cold, her nose is all stuffy and gross, poor thing has barely slept and she is exausted, going to get into town for when the shops open and buy her a snot sucker thing and some saline spray for her poor nose. She is so sleepy, I wish I could make her feel better, I don't even care that I have only had about an hours sleep, I just want her to be better :(

wiggler - :hugs: hope she starts to feel better soon!

heyy - good luck on the weightloss. hopefully your pelvis starts feeling better.

lucky- congrats on the 10 lbs :flower:

Welcome home mummy :) Glad you had a lovely time, and wow Eilidh is taking over George's weight now! lol Did you go to the zoo? Hope the journey wasnt too much of a nightmare!

Wiggler sorry Bethany isnt feeling very well. Hope you can get something for her to help! Do you have damp in the flat? You all always seem to have lots of colds (sorry if that sounds rude) but it would be a serious medical boost to a house move if you get the doctors to confirm it, especially in the 2 kids!

George slept super last night, but he had serious projectile vomitting at 3am! He wasnt upset or unsettled just sick then all smiles, then sick again. First was milk, second was something neon yellow! Despite this he slept 7.30pm - 10.45pm, 11.30pm - 2.30am and then 3.30am- 6.45am - which is great as he had been feeding all day lol :) He is currently on his play gym getting annoyed with a very annoying Joshua lol george is trying to watch the cartoons on the TV and Joshua is shaking a green frog in his face :haha: I think Joshua is going to get a right hook in a minute if his face gets any closer to georges lolol Think i may get some breakfast in peace while the boys are happy :) and for the first time ever my parents have slept in passed 6am so its just us up no one nagging me either, yay!

Whats everyones plans today? Im definitely taking the boys out somewhere today, even if its just to the shops. They did not like being indoors all day yesterday!

I'm glad George slept well last night.

No damp in the flat, but OH manages to pick up every cold going and shares them with us. Going to get Bethany a rocking chair too so she has something to lay in during the day thats more upright than her moses basket, but not as upright as her horrible bouncy chair, she loves being rocked too so hopefully she will be very happy in it. Luckily its just a bunged up nose at the moment, no temp and she is still happy and feeding well, fingers crossed it won't get any worse.

Going to ring my mum in an hour to find out if my little man is coming home tonight or tomorrow morning, I miss him like mad, but am so glad he wasn't here last night, he would barely have slept. I hope Bethany woke the neighbors up too

Sam slept from 12-5 and then 5.15 to 8.45 last night. :happydance: Only problem was it was in bed cuddled up to me and not in his bed....

I struggled to get any milk last night, I so hope this isn't the end.

Hope Bethany feels better soon Wiggler. :hugs: And well dome George!! xx

My poor baby hates her nasal saline spray and her snot sucker, she cried her eyes out, but I made it all better by putting her in her new rocker and putting the vibrate function on, she is fast asleep and sounds nowhere near as snotty. YAY!!

I hope Bethany feels better soon, Wiggler!

Mummy - GO EILIDH!! 8lbs is awesome!! She's catching up to Anberlin.

This morning, Zoe has therapy, and then it's supposed to be 36 degrees today so we'll be filling the pool and letting the kids swim. Other than that, we don't have any plans for the day.

Anberlin is my best sleeper. Zoe never slept, Isaiah slept 11 hours starting at 6 weeks old, but the last three nights, Anberlin has given me 9:00pm to 5:00am...this morning, she wasn't up until 6:30am. I think I like this bottle of expressed milk at bedtime thing. I love sleep.

Glad bethany is feeling a little better and its not a full on cold! Is Dylan coming home tonight? What kind of rocker have you got? Mum picked George a bouncey chair up today Ive not seen him in it yet but it will do for the short stays we have here, at home he has his swing and he loves it! He has been playing on his baby gym and loves it, its much smaller than the one at home and he can actually kick the toys and make noise and loves it, so taking it home with me. I bought it small to keep him for weekends here, but small also means compactible for travel, the full play gym at home he can only look at and not reach to kick or hit.

24 - naughty naughty having Sam in bed with you!! ;) Although I was shocked when my HV asked me does he have a bed of his own or do I have him in with me! When I had Joshua no way would anyone suggest having a baby in an adults bed, ever! he had a great sleep though yay!!!

Hope Zoes therapy went ok brandi! How good a sleeper is Miss Anberlin!! Wow! How does a bottle differ from breast for bed hun?

Oh right thats my 5 minute mummy break over, George is wanting his dinner, good timing really as mine is about 30-40 minutes away lol My sister has held him all afternoon so I have been able to do all the bits Im used to, like empty loft with my dad, take it all over to the tip, sort out my mums kitchen and help prepare dinner etc etc not exactly a rest, but all stuff I find hard to juggle around George lol

anyone heard any news from wild?

What sort of swing do you have new? Sam seems bored some of the time now, but is too small for his bouncy chair and playgym thing.... Glad George has been good today. :D

Well all my expressing today has just got a few drips, I am not a happy lady!! xx

I'm still fighting to get my supply back after battling mastitis, so I'll breastfeed at 6:00pm, bottle at 9:00pm and pump at 10:00pm. The bottle ensures that she's getting her full feed and seems to help her sleep at night. If I give her breast at 9:00pm, she's still feeding at 11:00pm and will be up again by 2:00am.

With three kids under 4, the sleep REALLY helps, and the pumping also ensures that I'm very slowly rebuilding my stockpile in the freezer for when I go back to placement in a few weeks.

Aww poor Bethany:hugs: My son has a cold atm, emergency tylenol on friday lol, so no zoo. Its no fun when a little baby is poorly. Hope she feels better.

New, glad you got a kind of break:haha: Lol at Joshua and the frog.

Brandi, thats some great sleep. Hope you guys get a break from fil and have a great day.

I cant believe Eilidhs 8lb, she was 6lb 2oz less than 3 weeks ago:wacko:

Ugh...stupid double posts.

24 - Have you tried the Fenugreek yet?

FIL is gone for the day (thank goodness). This morning was funny though. I was washing my pump and he comes up to me and says "E said Isaiah was crying in the night. I didn't hear him, but E did. I think he misses his room"

...you don't say...

It took everything in me to resist the temptation to say, "That is the smartest thing I have ever heard you say..."

Brandi what would happen if you told him to go stay in a hotel?

We'd be told to move out and we'd lose the house in his will. We pay all the bills, the property tax and the house insurance, but the house is in his name. He doesn't put a penny into this house and hasn't since he paid for it, but he refuses to put it in our name until he dies because he's afraid we'll tell him he can't stay here when he comes down.

...Honestly, I would
