Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Hello Hello i've spent an hour catching up & still never finished u ladies like to talk:haha:

Well we had a lovely christmas :happydance: kids were spoilt & have enjoyed every minute of it! Yesterday we went to build a bear & spent some christmas money i got a lovely new bag :cloud9:
Kids love all their toys!

LOVE all the xmas pics beautiful :)

I'm so sorry to all those having a hard time :nope::hugs: things are often tough here but we always seem to work it out:shrug: I hope you do one way or another

So formula feeders have u all moved onto follow on milk?? x

I haven't as aarons on staydown and I'm scared in case it upsets his tummy, so for now he's staying on the same. I may move onto follow on at about 9-10 months when he's eating more solids and the bottles reduce.

Milos- https://www.enfamil.com/app/iwp/enf...UMToddler&iwpst=B2C&ls=0&csred=1&r=3502754990
We have "follow on" milk as well, just not as widely used. Regular infant formula is just fine until one year... Although maybe it has more calories and nutrients in it that might help Ava gain? Have you ever considered ceiliac?

My sister said she had a dark "sort of stringy" discharge followed by light pink. I hope to god it's not what it sounds like with her plug and then bloody show. I'll be on pins and needles until I hear from her.

Milos, can your pediatrician refer you to a GI doc for Ava? Sounds like she would really benefit from that, hope you guys get over your cold really quick:hugs: have fun tomorrow night:happydance: Aww at Milo, Ruaridh will do that, they find it really hard to show their emotions appropriately, really hard to stay mad at them when they do it:dohh::haha:

Heyy could it be a placenta previa? The bleeding I had with mine was similar to a bloody show.

mummy- one thing milo does when he's mad or unsure of the situation, he crosses his arms like you or i would and tries to avoid eye contact. or he'll put his head down and look up at you with a really serious face. it's hilarious :haha: i'm sure her doc will refer a GI doc when i tell him she's still spitting up and throwing up food. although she has her good and bad days

heyy- i googled. some of the symptoms/signs of it does sound a lot like Ava. but i'm not sure since she doesn't to seem all that uncomfortable when eating. she was only given oatmeal at 4 months and did pretty well with not throwing it up. she still spits up formula and food is just a once in a while. but i wouldn't turn away testing if her doc would wanna test for it.

hip and back pain and diarrhea. No actual contractions that she can feel- but then I couldn't feel contractions much with the girls and was apparently headed into hard labor.

She just messaged me, she's waiting for an ultrasound.

She says his HR is really good and he's kicking up a storm in there- they are going to do an US to check out her cervix length and her placenta

Everything checked out okay with my sister and nephew- they have sent her home, told her to take it easy this weekend, and see her OB on Monday- until then, no sex, which is freaking her out!

oh no is she craving sex like I did?? Monday is soooooooooooooo far away! lol On a serious note so glad every was ok for her :hugs:

I forgot who said red heads produce red heads, my sister is proper ginger red head, big think ginger curls lol... she has 2 blonds, 2 brunettes and 1 red head in her brood

Okies got to shoot mum is letting george drink coffee (de-caff but seriously :dohh:) need to rescue... oh and he is blowing bubbles in it by blowing raspberiies. I need to rescue him and give him breakfast lol

Leo is still being a greedy piggy :haha: hes napping now but when he gets up its time for pasta and tomatoes and Im making chilli for OH. I found Chilli and dark chocolate sauce in Asda yesterday so wer trying it

For the red-head thing, two red-headed parents make red-headed children, and if you have two parents with two different hair colours, if they both have the red-head recessive gene, they can have a red-headed child.

Mummy - Bethany is blonde/brown and ginger ( trust her to have weird hair), blue eyes and innie belly button

Brandi - :hugs: Oooh thats odd, both my parents have blue eyes and I have hazel/green eyes, but I'm odd

Wud - Bethany is on follow on milk now. Glad you had a lovely xmas now!

Bethany doesn't have any shoes, I won't be getting her any until she is walking, waste of money for something she will hardly wear until then.

Heyy - glad you sis and bubs is ok

I just sent OH ot with the little bit of money I stashed away to buy me a late Xmas pressie, a PSP and a few games, I am such a gook

Dylan has been a little brat today, I knew he would be cos OH is home. OH really needs to stop ignoring him and just spend some time with him.

I had a HUGE HUGE HUGE breakthrough with Dylan over the past few days, he said a 5 word sentence!!! "Not a hair, a train" He grabbed a loose hair off my hairbrush and pretended it was a train :haha: And today he played with playdough!! When his food thing started when he was a baby he got very funny about touching anything that was slimy, wet etc anything different, and today he played with the playdough really happily. Maybe soon we can actually get him to try painting. He is still really funny about getting wet (unless he is in the rain or bath) or getting food on him, but nursery should help that.

So maybe we ought to be thinking about a DNA test...hmmmmm...

Speaking of Anberlin, in case you didn't see on FB, she has yet another word: brush.

What kid has 6 words before 8 months old? Something tells me I'm going to have the non-stop talker. :haha:

whats everone doing for new years eve?

and anyone got anything they want to achieve? i really need to lose weight! i got down to 11 stone in september and im now just over 12!

Lose weight and stop eating Doritos during hockey games. But don't tell my husband, because we all know where that got us...

Ahhh, one of out friend had her little girl at 31 weeks on boxing day and she is off oxygen, no feeding tube and in clothes already, what a little star!! xx

Glad your sister and nephew are okay new, and great news about the little princess, 24!

Oh my god, I have a newfound respect for single moms. Yeah, I've done it before, but nothing like this with 3 kids and full-time. Last time, I had school. Anyway, I've been up for only 3 hours and already done dishes, breakfast, had a shower, changed 3 poopy diapers, all on the same kids, swept and mopped the kitchen floor, sorted laundry, stain-treated laundry, started a load, realized I forgot to start the dryer last night, folded laundry, put it away, swept the living room, picked up my kids' mess in the living room, 3 times...does this ever end?

...that was just the first three hours of my day. Now they can have an hour of TV time so I can relax before the chaos begins again.
