i need to go to mine soon and see when im due check up so will ask when to get him in. Theyv always got spaces for nhs patients at our dentist Feel so sleepy today. Slept through Leo crying this morning when OH got home

once a tooth is through when should babies go to dentist and have their teeth brushed? Leos has broken through the gum and is coming up but dont know when to start cleaning it? Should I start now? Its tiny still so im not sure

I've been brushing aarons tootypegs with a finger brush I got inside the dentinox teething toothpaste tube

I got told off my dentist to come in once his teeth cut through so he gets used to seeing a dentist before anything needs doing then it will be a pleasant experience for him?

I sold lots of baby bits this evening slowly emptying my house And a lady has enquired and made an offer about my changing station Ive accepted her offer so hopefully they'll get sold

milos, how have you all been?? I see on FB you still not getting much sleep Ava didnt gain last time did she hmmmmm 15lb 8oz but I think it might be higher!

George is munching on pear chunks (not canned, fresh) he seems to be really enjoying it

Are you selling bits on facebook? I'll have to try that as I don't want to do ebay I don't mind gumtree though! I'm in two minds in case we do decide to have another, save buying everything again but I would be more strict and not buy 20 of everything I.e. Vests, sleep suits

new- we've been alright finally getting Milo's therapy sorted i've been reading along with everyone. so no need for me to catch up. i'm running on 10 minutes of sleep i got this morning. luckily OH will be off work within the next hour or so. then we need to run back to pick up Ava's medicines.

holy cow, growth spurt! Ava just got back from the doctors. she measured 16.4oz (with cloth diaper so she's probably around 16 even) and 26in even. i didn't get her caught up on any shots since she's still trying to kick this cold she's had since a little after christmas. so they gave me a script for some antibiotics and cough medicine. i'm on hold waiting to schedule an appt for her to get an Upper GI x-ray.

we are going to cloth nappy as wer going to be NTNP #2 in a few months so nappies will be expensive I was going to buy liners and wipes but.. I can make my own Anyone have any tips on a homemade solution to moisten the homemade wipes with? Im thinking to make them from toweling (my mum did with us and her mum used cloth and toweling with her 6 kids) is that a good material for reusable wipes and liners or would something else be better?

No advice on cloth nappies have you tried aldi's nappies 48No for £4.99 way cheaper than pampers and just as good! Also wipes are 79p

Can you not add aloe Vera drops to some sort of solution no help am I lol.

Eilidhs bone survey went well, she's not missing the clavicle but it isnt formed right like her daddys. she did well and only screamed for an hour Eilidh tried garlic bread after. Lol they didnt add it up right at the cafeteria and we got huge pizza, garlic bread, a big soda, carrot cake and huge cookie (yeah I'm really healthy) for $4

harvey- we currently get 2 packs of 44 asda nappies for £10 There ok but Leo has a red bum with every nappy hes tried (we use nappy rash cream but he still gets a little red) so I thought wed gets some and I wanted to cloth nappy when he was born but other things needing buying. Aarons been since 7pm, it's one 8.45pm, god I hope he sleeps tonight! I'm sat here not knowing what to do as I think he'll wake any second, I could have done more but nahh sat on my arse with a bit of choc n I daren't pic up a newspaper cos he always wakes when I do that, how does he know

I'm meeting me mam tomorrow in town, getting more photos of Aaron for mine and her album! Banking hubby's £1 coins and not much else

inge- google The Green Panda (wipe solution) i've seen a dramatic change in her nappy purchases since switching to cloth. one pack can last us a month!

harvey- they're going to make her drink a certain type of liquid. then take an xray of her upper GI tract (gastro-intestinal). to see if it causes her spitting up liquids and her solids.

mummy- nothing different feeding wise glad to hear Eilidh's scan went well i dont even wanna imagine having to fight Ava the night before her xray. 6 hours of nothing for her

Yes Harvey I sell on FB - no fee's no postage just plain simple buy and sell lol Ive made £20 today, and £50 tomorrow I sold all georges NB and 0-3mth clothes on FB and made over £100!!! Its soooooooooooo much easier!

I definitely think the earlier you get LOs to the dentist the better!

Glad the bone scan was conclusive - and you got a real bargin on your food hehe I knew Elidh would like her garlic bread lol - its a huge hit here too lol

Inge out of interest, do you (may mummies also) put cream on his bum when he hasnt got a rash? I put talc on aarons and he very rarely gets a sore bum, if he does I use metanium.

Cloth is brilliant but dunno about homemade wipes sorry, we just use any brand as long as its unscented If she gets a rash then we use metanium unless its really awful and we get this gold cream on prescription. Good luck ntnp Inge.

Harvey nope it wont be a problem, she'll just be like hubby. Actually thinking about it maybe that is a problem He just shouts at the bus driver "I'm going to action you" " Coloooooor with action!" I ask him what he means and he just says he has to action things! Maybe he got in and actioned Aaron and thats why his batteries are always full?! Glad you got a break hun, hope he sleeps for you tonight!

Who asked about cream?? - I dont use any cream ever on George and he's never had a rash. When Joshua had a rash we (I lol) used zinc and castor oil cream, very cheap but works amazing!!!!

Mummy- poor bairn inheriting from daddy!
I've hardly used any sudocream on Aaron, I use talc after wiping him with wipes and he doesn't have sore bums unless tootypegs are coming through then metanium clears it up in a few days
Lol at your little boy, I'd love to see the drivers face not happy your lad has put everlasting batteries in aaron the minute I typed he was asleep, he woke up and is now terrorising Harvey. We've been playing pass the ball and now he's chasing Harvey to bed, sofa, bed, sofa. Poor Harvey can't hide anywhere

Oh yes, OH was getting his nap before night shift and we were talking about NTNP. He got this smile when I asked if it happened soon, how would he feel Implant came out yesterday at 12pm and the bleeding is slowing down abit now Wish OH would have told me he wanted another this soon and I would have kept Leos newborn clothes and the moses basket We might co-sleep anyway, we did a little with Leo when he was colicy and clingy to us and it was lovely.

Me! Re-cream - I find if you put cream on their bums with no rash, their bums get sore, so I stopped and aarons sores/rashes stopped too

Aaron is busy learning French from his maracas if he speaks French before English I'll be in trouble but I'm sick of hearing his maraca in english
