Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I have internet!!!! turns out someone stole all our phone cable so he had to redo the lot :dohh:

I also have a grumpy Dylan and a finally sleeping Bethany, poor little bubba screamed all day and finally zonked out. Dylan is now going out with OH to play on his scooter, I hope he is a bit happier when he gets in.

Hello ladies! Dropping in for a quick moment while I have one (had to lock the bathroom door, lol)

I haven't caught up yet, I'm sorry, but I hope you're doing well. Happy 9 months to Charlotte and Rochelle, and 10 months to Eilidh! These babies are growing up too fast!

Getting Anberlin weighed today. On December 20, she was 17lbs 7.5oz. Any guesses?

I guess 18lbs 3ozs:thumbup:

Today's prize is another cookie for whoever gets it right on. She's more than 18lbs but less than 19lbs.

Trying to catch up- but only on 1417 and you guys are still going strong!

Just popping in to say :hi:
The girls are doing well- Rochelle is fully crawling everywhere, but Charlotte is still quicker with her Army man crawl! They both started going fro crawling to sitting and back to crawling this week, banging toys together (This has been skipped so far) and have both learned how to make a new noise- it's kind of a Gu Gu sound but WAY back in their throats and with their mouths shut- it's really weird and they LOVE to do it at each other.... the beginnings of their own language?
I'm fighting like hell to not get sick- lots of tea and meds and will be going back down for a long winters nap when hubby emerges (He's taken the early shift with the girls the last two days

:hi: heyy missed you these past few days:winkwink:

:happydance: way to go girls, Aaron has still to learn the crawl to sit manoeuvre!

I love baby talk especially between twins or babies close in age :cloud9:

Are your girls going to speak two languages and get one/two over on you:shrug::haha:

heyy - WTG girlies! I hope you don't catch the lurgy :hugs: Miss you hun!

The BT man was so gorgeous, tall, dark and handsome just how I like em, I was a teeny bit sad when he had to go, he was so damn hot!

Brandi 18lbs 15oz? ... Sounds like she had a really good gain

Wiggler :happydance: for your internet back hun! How was Dylans 2nd nursery day?

Heyy :hi: awesome to see's you about!! Hope you stay sick free hun! The girls sound like they are doing awesome, how cute they are chatting to each other :cloud9: vids please!!! lol

So Ive had one hell of a day like you couldnt begin to imagine! I am now coming back to sanity and I think all thats in order to say is pizza or chinese? Because Im dammed if I think Im cooking tonight

I switch their toys to Spanish when I get sick of them, and MIL speaks Spanish to them (FIL is Mexican, MIL is just funny :haha: ) so they might try that on me, but I speak a little and understand a lot- It's the "twin language" I am lookiing out for!

Inge- make a mild soapy solution with baby shampoo (Do you guys do Johnson and Johnson?) and add a couple drops per cup of aloe gel- super cheap and easy wipes solution!
Also, old tee shirts make great reusable wipes

New- Are you sure you don't just want to stay home???

Brandi- LOVE the pigtails!

Wiggler- glad to hear Dylan enjoyed Nursery so much! What will you be doing with yourself while he's there? Any way you can get him transfered to one closer before he gets too settled there?

Oh yes, and Elle is waving bye-bye... we think! She holds her hand facing her, so she's either waving bye-bye or using the sign for "want" , but she only does it when someone is leaving, so I'm leaning towards bye-bye!

The finances being so tight this week has made us reconsider a few things and we're going to see if we can qualify for a little aid. It's also made me realize how good and screwed we'd be if hubby got injured  time to try to get back on that savings plan and get ahead!

Day 2 of nursery went well, he was a little upset when he got there cos he didn't want to take his coat off, his coat is now at some other little boys house as there was a mix up at nursery, but OH is picking it up tomorrow and the nursery gave us a loaner until monday.

He was so tired and upset all afternoon, but I didn't let him nap and he went straight to sleep at 6.45 so thats good. I keep changing my mind about moving him closer, yea it would be easier money wise and easier travelling, but the nursery he is at is the best in the area and gets glowing ofsted reports, its also a sure start centre so lots of stuff for me and bethany to do (mum and baby classes, fitness classes, qualifications, arts and crafts, sports - all free, plus free creche for the kids if its a non nursery day and for Bethany). I am torn, but Dylan is my main focus so I will keep him where he is, his worker said that he is settling in nicely, and they are getting their speech worker to wirk with him to help improve his speech and with all the extras I really would be insane to pull him out to another nursery just for the sake of saving some money. Its a shame I can't send Bethany there when she is 3, but the local school and the nursery are so far apart it would be impossible as we don't drive.

I'd love to stay home lol It'll get easier though - it sure as hell cant get any worse!

George's waves are towards him hun. sounds like she is defintiely doing bye-byes :cloud9: I hope you get the aid hun, you deserve as much as anyone else receiving it so dont worry - probably more than some people!!

Went for pizza - and its here :happydance: yum!

AND.... george hasnt had a nap this afternoon and has easily gone down to sleep after his milk at 7pm - hmmmmm this could be good or bad lol.... if I dont let you know at 10pm its because its good and Im KO'd in bed

Oh how irresponsible of the nursery!!!! ive used daycare for the last 7.5 years and have had misplaced coats and clothes (how they lose clothes is beyond me!) gawd knows how many times BUT if that was his one insecurity this morning it should have been priority to ensure it was ok all day! Hope they locate it quickly hun, but glad he is settling well! SS centres are awesome hun if its financially viable I would definitely favour them over a closer nursery  And all the extra things you and Bethany can get up to will help you anxiety no end!

Hello. :D

I can't catch up as too much to read but saying hello. :D

Sam is ow 21lbs2oz, and soooo close to walking!! The HV thinks he will be off by the time he is nine months, eeekkkk!! xx

Wow go Rochelle and Charlotte:happydance: They are phenomenal heyy, considering they were as preemie as Eilidh its just incredible how amazing they are doing!! I hope you can get some aid hun, if you're eligible then thats what it is there for, its what your hubby pays his tax for:hugs: Hope you dont get the lurgy, it sounds nasty.

Wiggler, glad he's enjoying himself:flower: That sounds like a huge faff with his coat, hope he gets it quick. The BT man sounds nice:winkwink:
