Ah yes 5x a night running back and forward will have 3 tired people in your house!
 
I personally wouldn't put a crib by a window- especially A. upstairs and B. with a baby prone to wheezing issues. Just Sayin.

Do you use the under the bed space?
We got rid of our bed frame and got a second box spring to lift the bed higher, but making about a foot more room without the head and foot board.
Is there any space anywhere you could store your bed frame until George moves out of your room?
 
yup!!! I'd end up just putting him back in with me :dohh: lol I'm going to look for a divan base, OH has his appt tomorrow so enough on his mind, whatever is the outcome there will depend on whether or not I suggested hacking into the woodwork lol that gives me a bit of time to find a bed :rofl:

I just put an add on Fb sale/swop... a divan bed base for a swop for my pine bed frame that would be ideal! lol Or... oh oh oh an option 6 just came floating in my head! :haha: I could put the bed frame down, just sleep on the matress until I get a divan base, but that would mean i could put the cot up right away, the mattress fits no issue at all, its a good mattress so wont feel like Im sleeping on the floor lol (least it better not do tha mount it cost me!!) AND OH and I need to decorate this room, and to do that we needed to dismantle the bed sooooooooo it would give us the kick up the arse we need to get it down, while there is no solid bed in here!!!
 
heyy I must have channelled into your thoughts!!! I just thought the same!! lol I dont use under the bed no... well I do.. for junk :haha: it would do me no harm to have no under the bed storage lol

And I wouldnt want George next to the window either, if he was going that side I would have to get heavy duty curtains up... but nope Im actually just going to dismantle the bed frame and use the mattress until a divan base becomes available then that would be perfect.

Do I put the cot on first or 2nd setting? George cant pull himself to standing, nor can he pull himself into the sitting position etc etc if he is laying, laying he remains, if he is sitting, sitting he remains (unless he goes splat - but then we back to laying he remains ha ha). Im just wondering if it would be easier to put him straight on the bottom setting? Although this transition from basket/my bed, to a cot for naps and bedtime is going to be a big one and may require some reassurance at sleep times and patting off etc... and on the bottom would make that harder for me and more tiresome lol
 
I'd keep it on the higher setting as he's not getting up yet and it saves your back when he needs settled:thumbup: Sounds like you have a plan there:happydance: Good luck for your OH tomorrow too:hugs:

I'll likely go the donor route, and it WILL be Anberlin's donor too. It'll be nice for her to have a full sibling. I'm not ready to jump into the dating scene. I'd like to be on my own for a while. It'll likely be another two years until I can get the reversal though, so it's not something that will happen right away.
 
Have you totally ruled out the possibility of Anberlin being Mikes biological daughter then? What will you tell the kids when they are older, if Anberlin is being brought up as Mikes, but the next baby will not, yet they'll be full siblings. Do you know Anberlins donor personally or do you get to chose the same donor from a fertility company?
 
A little under $5800.

We haven't totally ruled it out, but comparing her to our other two who we KNOW are his biologically, it's unlikely. We decided to let her make the decision. We'll tell her one day that she may not be biologically his and if she wants a DNA test to know for sure, we'll get one.

As for the donor, that's where I've been dishonest in the past. I guess I was embarrassed about how I went about her conception, but really, she's gorgeous. Why should I be embarrassed? I never should have been dishonest as you guys have never judged me for it before, and for that, I'm sorry. I did a home insemination with donor sperm. We planned it around my cycles, which is why we were successful the first shot. I reimburse him for his train ride to and from his city, he donates, I inseminate, and then we part ways. He's not donating to anyone new anymore. I do still email him from time to time though, with updates and pictures. Anberlin was "his" first girl.
 
Did you go though medical checks first? (STIs, HIV etc) and do you have all necessary medical history for him for Anberlins sake should you need it? Does Mike know you still keep in touch? Have you asked him already if he'd father another baby with you?
 
$5800 is a lot of money!

Yes, he goes through medical checks every 3 months as he also donated through sperm banks. He showed me his most recent record. I do not have medical history, but he is willing to go through genetic testing if necessary. No, Mike does not no, and I hide all communication in a special folder in my email. I know I shouldn't keep in touch, but really, it's just a picture every few months with a "She's doing great", and that's about it. No full conversations, and yes, he offered when I found out I was pregnant with Anberlin, to donate again if I wanted more children.
 
Oh, I don't know if you guys believe in those Brooke/Cheri/Jennrenny Baby Psychics or not, but they've always been right for me. I asked Cheri which option I should choose if I wanted to know if I'd be successful in getting my reversal. This was her response:

You would have to go for the reversal in order to get the next child... they are showing one additional one, so you could use the bypass reading (12.00) if you wanted gender/month and indepth information.

brandi can i ask 1 more.. then i promise to leave you in peace... what made you want to find a donor so early into your marriage breakdown? Or did you know the guy already and just think why not? It must have been a huge decision for you to make xx
