Just got in and I'm so tired, but I managed to wear Bethany the whole way there and back! I even got loads of arm excersize trying to to fall over on the rollercoaster to and from town
wiggler - i know where your coming from! I carried Leo to town and got bus back cos hes so heavy! OH has the pushchair and the carrier hasnt come yet, We had a yummy cherry granola yogurt in Sainsburys cafe though while we waited for the bus. Leo wasnt to sure about it though He passed out as soon as the bus pulled away but now hes up and ready after waking at 5:30am when OH was getting ready for work
Bethany woke up at 5.30am too, and woke Dylan up!! He is sleeping so much better now, last night he had 10 1/2 hours, the 2 nights before he had 11 1/2 hours sleep and the difference is amazing, he is a lot chirpier in the mornings, he is even eating a bit more dinner in the evening whereas before he would have about 2 bites then want his bath, milk then bed.
I felt like the most heartless cow ever earlier, I took Dylan into nursery, we put his coat and bag on his peg (he never takes his coat off when we get there so brilliant progress) took him round to his teacher and the tears and clinging on started, I kissed him, said goodbye and walked out while my baby was sobbing his heart out and calling me and trying to reach me. I hate nursery!
Its best to not make the good byes too long. When I started school I used to go hysterical while my mum or grandparents where there then when theyd left Id forget and get on with playing. I bet Dylan had a little cry then found a toy and forgot Leo cries when OH leaves for night shifts and when OH gets home at 7am he wkaes up and gets excited
Also im so angry at the Co-Op. Im really thinking of complaining. OH broght cheese last night (2 bags of grated for £3) and he tipped it in his pasta and noticed the GREEN CHEESE The date was 27th feb but the cheese was warm and going mushy like it had been left out in the warm. He took and back and was in a mood the whole night. Iv worked in catering and know all the health and safety rules. Either their fridges dont work properly and arent set to the right temp or they had a delivery and couoldnt be bothered to put it away so it was left out. Now cheese isnt going to go green in a few hours is it? Aparently the girl never even said sorry, just gave his money back If it was at a place id worked Id have checked the temps and checked all the cheese that came from that delivery.
Wiggler- don't worry about the show he put on for you, hon- When I taught pre-school (Nursery) not one kid, even the biggest screamer/drama mama we had, cried for more that 6 minutes. (And usually the last 3 or 4 minutes of the long ones were forced sobs, all the while peeking at us sideways to see if we were going to react! Little monkeys lol)
I guess I AM going to have the one who skips crawling, lol. We sat her in front of her toybox with a few toys and I was on the couch helping Isaiah get dressed. Mike came out of the bathroom to get her for her bath and he goes `WHAT THE HECK!` so I looked up, and she was standing, feet curled in and holding on for dear life, but with a HUGE smile on her face!
Heyy - I know it doesn't last long, but its so heaartbreaking seeing him begging for me to come back I hope he grows out of it soon
Bethany spends all her time standing up against stuff and cruising now, her favourite is to stand against her highchair and reach up to the seat to see if I missed anything when I clean it up cheeky monkey!
Bethany should be renamed Dyson, I swear the smallest fleck of anything goes onto the floor and there she is trying to eat it her favourite nibble is paper
Bethany never gets a chance to eat the post, Dylan always grabs it and opens it all We have to be quite strict now though, he keeps opening post that isn't ours
Bethany is playing with Dylans till right now, she loves it when she is at nursery, she can play with all his toys without him taking them off her every 5 minutes she does keep looking round a bit confused though, I think she is looking for him
Happy birthday Ruaridh, please can I share some cake
Wiggler Heyy is so right, I also worked in nursery and 'out of sight out of mind' rings a bell... they are quickly distracted and calm right down!!! Although I know how hard it is, George is going through that phase, he now realises Im about to leave him and cries as we enter the nursery and clings on to me, but Im sure it doesnt last. I bite my bottom lip and make a run for it... parents who pander to the child and make a huge fussy good bye cause soooooooo much problems for the nursery staff its easier on everyone to drop and go xxxx
WTG Anberlin, I think booty shuffling counts as 'crawlling' lol Movement is movement however they master it lol we did tell you she didnt need physio! Very stupid person who suggested she might!
Okies my little man is sleeping, he not eating very well at all arghhh dont want another weight loss he has no spare chubb this time!!!
Wiggler- I'm dreading the nursery drop off but I'd still be upset in a way if Aaron ran in without looking back lol
