Hoping you get more sleep tonight Lucky, poor little man!

Great smile wiggler :)

Mummy I just dont get hungry enough to eat any more calories lol Ive tried to cut down the turkey in favour of red meats to up the calories lol

Ok so as promised, George is in his bed and Im downstairs... BUT my monitors are crap I think well I dont like them anyways. I cant hear George breathing, I can hear nothing!! Ive sent Joshua up to test them and they are working fine, I can hear him talking and whispering, but Ive asked him to just breathe and shuffle on my bed, and I couldnt hear that. Im sat here really worried now! Im going to burn off as many BFing calories running up and down the stairs all night because now he is settled up there I dont want to bring him down! Think I will get Joshua sorted, do the stuff out of the car i need to do then go up and watch TV until I can get new monitors. These are brand new out of the box today so hopefully can return them.

Argh new, how awful. I don't think any moniters would pick up bethany breathing cos she is a quiet breather. what about getting an movement type moniter? Don't forget to lie to the shop and say its faulty so they take it back, some shops are so funny about returns.

My friends hubby got them for me, he is the manager of the store lol Ive just sent her an email and Im sure her fella will sort it for me lol (I paid he just got them spare me driving to the shop as its a few towns away). I only had sound monitors with Joshua and could hear everything. Im really reluctant to get an angel monitor that detects the movement as I heard the alarms go off a lot I amy reconsider a video monitor. OH showed me a few the other day i think they'd be best as I can see him then and hopefully the sound will also be better. The monitor hasnt picked up a single movement or sound since Joshua came out of the room... Ive checked on George, but Im not relaxed, this is totally worse than no routine and him being up all night with me :(

A video moniter sounds like a good idea, but if the sound is still poor (is George a loud breather?) and a still sleeper you could still end up worrying yourself. I'm not sure if movement sensors work well with hammocks, but I haven't hearrd of too many false alarms with them until the babies are older and can wriggle right off the sensor x x x

Monitors would stress me out way more than no monitors! Either myself or hubby has Eilidh with them pretty much all the time, she gets wheeled around in her basket (the tank lol). When she's old enough to go to a room away from us she's sharing with her big sister who will be 7 anyway so not quite the same as by herself. Hope you sort something out new so you can relax:hugs: My main issue with leaving her unattended monitor or otherwise is she was a preemie so this is probably completely different for a termie:flower:

New, I have a similar thing with the calories so can understand, I have to get like 3000 though lol, its tough going. I get prescribed build up drinks when I have a bad patch, maybe you can get these? :hugs:

Hope you got your games wiggler!

Im not sure how it would work with the hammock in truth. George isnt a very quiet breather, he breathes heavy in his sleep... he is boardering snoring  He doesnt wriggle too much though, but he does move a bit. I need something, I dont know what but something, this is no good having no idea whats happening upstairs.

Right decision made, Im going to watch TV in my room lol Joshua is all set for bed now, and Im a nervous wreck lol

Thanks ladies. I've been pumping and storing 3-4oz bags so glad to hear that's the usual.

I have to put george to bed at some point. Its not fair on him to be up all night downstairs until i am ready to go bed, plus there is no where proper for him to sleep down here, he doesnt like his moses basket and he doesnt get as settled a sleep on the sofa, and if i want to go to bed between his feeds it disturbs him and he doesnt feed as well or sleep as well. Also, without this coming out hugely wrong lol, as a single parent i do everything all day and night by myself, and I kinda need a bit of me time, and that will come from having both boys in bed at a bedtime and I'll get 2-3 hours of an evening to be able to walk between rooms or hop in the bath etc lol

and it was discussed id take fortisips (calorie boosting drink) but i dont like them lol Im slowing building up my calories lol

new - I hope you find a good moniter :hugs:

I'm not having the reccomended 2500 cals a day either but my weight hopped up 5lbs in 2 days... I don't undertand why... I don't want to be fat anymore

Yeah has been a while since I was a single mum, its hard work. I think I would do things differently too if my kids hadn't been premature, but the risks of things like SIDS are so much higher for my kids :( You deserve time off hun, was just saying how it is for me:flower:

And fortisip

If you consume too few calories your metabolism can slow down and you find it harder to lose weight or you put it on. Also are you drinking enough?
