Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Aww George is a cutie:cloud9:

Cats choose their owners though no?! This kitty has chosen you guys Brandi!

I want to keep him. Mike says no, and if he already has owners, I just can`t take him from them. The kids LOVE him already too.

Yeah bet the kids have become attached! Hopefully you can find his owner but if not maybe consider him if he checks out healthy, esp if you want a cat anyway. Hes soooo cute:flower:

Still lurgied up, Dylan woke up at stupid o clock and was whinging really high pitched and loud for ages, so in the end I had to get strict with him and threatened to wash blankie  he shut up quite fast after that :haha:

I think Dylan is getting bored of my approach of helping him with his speech, we do something different every day, but he is starting to say no when I ask him to repeat words (I still repeat them anyway so he knows how to say it properly), any ideas? I was thinking of getting an Innotab (like an iPad for kids) so we can read ebooks, take pictures, play learning games etc etc, but its £80, it would last for ages and they do loads of free downloadable extras for it, but I'm really not sure.

Bethany is in a lovely lovely mood this morning, she iscrawling around trying to get all Dylans toys :haha: He still isnt brilliant with sharing but he is getting there, he lets her plays with anything but his laptop or his trains, but he doesn't go into meltdown if she touches them. STILL NO TOOTH!!!! ARGH!!!! She doesn't seem too bothered by it today luckily!

:hi:

Wow what a morning!! lol So the cot is built :) The old bed base has gone, and Im not as confident the mattress will fit in :haha: Maybe I need a sofa bed that I can put away? There's always the floor lol :dohh:

That innotab sounds great wiggler! MIL is bringing my older 2 an ipad when she visits soon(:argh: lol) for similar reasons. Theres all kinds of downloadable apps to help esp for autism:thumbup: Ruaridh often uses our friends ipad and its amazing how quickly they can learn to navigate them! Sorry you're still lurgied hun, hubbys come down with something too :( What're you upto today? Washing blankie  Its getting time to give Bethany that brick to chew you were threatening before to get that stubborn tooth out!!

Not up to much really, just resting while I can, chances are my mum isn't having the kids tonight now which sucks. Dylan has been looking forward to this for ages, and I really need a night off, even when OH is here I can't go for a lay down cos he can't even look after the kids, and if I dare lay down on the sofa then I am a lazy bitch :( If she can't have them today, then she can't have them til next week due to Dylan being in nursery and I NEED some sleep, this stupid cough is keeping me up all night, it is better than it was, but urgh, I am soooooooo tired :(

Tad-da.... the impossible puzzle slotted together :happydance:

Arghhhhh George is grinding his teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wiggler :( Hope your mum does come through for you and give you a break!

I wouldnt trust Anja with the ipad but Ruaridh and Freja for sure would look after theres and I know they can already use it. Great tool:thumbup: Yeah DH has some sort of throat lurgy now but he's of to work soon and can take his manflu with him  Hun can I still get the surgery tomorrow if he passes his bug to me? Dylan is really respectful with stuff now, especially electronic stuff, looks like all the "No Dylan, you'll break it" repeating has worked :haha:

Argh I need some sleep, but I two wide awake bubbas, ARGH, going to make myself ANOTHER very strong tea and something else to eat.

Yeah, I dont think you'd get the lurgy too quick hun, you'll be ok for morning! Stop finding excuses, by the time you finished moaning it'll be all done and you'll be home wondering what all the fuss was about :hugs: Definitely kick him out and tell him to take his bugs with him though :haha: (dont tell him I said that lol)

im well impressed I got it finished! There is still loads upstairs to get done but thats by far the biggest job sorted lol

Wiggler, do what I did and let him practice on someone elses ipad first:haha:

New, You know me too well! You did great getting it set up:thumbup: Did you manage to get much sleep last night hun?

We might be keeping the cat!

I got a message from a friend yesterday that the cat lives on her street, but she's not sure which house. We still haven't heard from anyone claiming him, so we're going to print off more flyers and put them in the mailboxes on the street. If no one claims him by tomorrow morning, we're taking him to the vet to get checked out. If he's free of diseases, we'll have him fixed and front declawed, and will bring him home. He slept in our garage all night last night.

I personally don't think technology like that is good for learning as when children are at school it's not like that and they have to sit and focus etc, but it's each to their own.

Well done new!! xx

 very good job!

you can tell you live on your own with the pink bedroom!

Beware of that wire that's hanging down the side if the cot in case George does decide to move a muscle :winkwink::haha: maybe tape it to go along wall above the cot height:flower:

Thanks harvey, I have fixed the wire out of the way, i just forgot to do it before taking the photo, but thanks hun :hugs:

 I do have a bit of a pink room huh :dohh:OH had a shock first time he saw it, I also have a pink chandaleir type light fitting :haha:

:hi: 24 how's Sam hun?

Work under paid me grrr, they got my return to work dates wrong! I just spoke to headoffice (didnt even both going through my office they waste of time!) and they were really lovely and have fixed it in one minute! Then the HR lady said 'hows your first month been' so I said hell, and she said aww do you miss your little one, so I said yes, but its the management that have been the problem, Ive hated every minute I have been back so far! (I was accidently thinking out loud) and the HR lady said she can raise an enquiry if I wish, so I said no I would try sort it in house first, but she said not to dwell on it and if I cant sort it myself to ring back and she will help me.... then I cried ffs!!! - and while onthe topic of my stupid office I rang them Monday to tell them I couldnt work this week George was ill (my next shift was Wednesday so plenty of notice), they rang me Tuesday left a snotty message on my answer phone asking if I could bother letting them know what I intend on working this week (I said I would ring and confirm diagnosis from GP, I got in at 11.55am, this message was left at 10am). Then i got another set of messages and texts yesterday evening asking me to work, so i politely said I couldnt George was unwell and ffs they just rang me again while I was on the phone to head office and asked me if I would work!!!! *and breathe* lol they slightly getting on my nerves lol

How is everyone today? George is napping in his cot :cloud9: wonder if he'll have a decent length nap. Im going to have to put a heater up there there is a chill in the air and the monitor says its 18 degree's and is blue so I think thats too cold!

He doesnt have a quilt hun, thats a quilt cover (no different from a cotton sheet!) and I dont think they supposed to have a pillow, but he has one  thats a baby cot size pillow, its not an adults pillow! lol

I had a word with my mum, well I saw a word, I was sobbing and tlling her fucking miserable I am, she said she is going to talk to my dad about me and the kids moving there. I can't carry on living like this, it isn't healthy
