:grr: i hate afterpains, not long topped up painkillers and struggling already, still cant sleep :rofl:
 
:hugs:wild afterpains after 4 kids are horrendous:hugs: How many pain killers you taking? I was told to take 3 ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol every 4 hours, kinda worked. Hot bath helped too.
 
...don't say that. Afterpains with Anberlin killed me. If I'm going through with surrogacy, I don't want them to get worse.
 
Wild- he's a cutie! I hate after pains too. Heating pad on my stomach with lots of pain meds the first few days helped. :hugs:
 
Wild he is so gorgeous! He looks like he has big hands, has he? How long was he? Hope the afterpains dont hang around too long, i thought baby #2s were bad enough can not even imagine baby #4s! :hugs: Luca is a lovely name hun, as is Luke! Cant wait to read what you decide!

24 I see you were online at ungodly hours, did Sam not sleep for you last night?

George skipped a feed last night and slept 9pm -3.45am and then 4am - 7.30am! I feel like a new woman! I was in bed too and asleep by 10.30 maybe I should look back the post I made to heyy was probably one of the last things I did before dropping off to sleep lol

Im going to see my friend this morning by the sounds of it her little man is going to appear so much bigger than George and there is only days between them lol I think she is under estimating how long George is now lol but he definitely weighs considerably more lol
 
new- so glad to hear you got some sleep! i love when Ava goes for long stretches of sleep and gives us a break. lol


here's a pic of her the day she turned 5 weeks (friday). she smiles a few times a day and i love it. she's really good a following us if we're talking to her then start to walk away. and turns to hear a familiar voice. i cant wait to hear her first laugh :D

Two night feeds last night, two?! Even when he was first born he didn't have two, zzz!! :sleep:

But to make up for it, Sam has finally cracked and decided BF is ok, and latched on with nipple sheilds and had his first feed, and then fell asleep. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9: Happy just doesn't cover it!!

Ava is beautiful!! xx
 
ladies my Child Benefit was processed within a week of me sending it off!

24- Well done on getting Sam to latch!

I had my first horrific poo incident this morning! Josh was being sick loads so i lay him down to change his sleepsuit. I took his nappy off and went into the kitchen to get some water in a bowl to give him his morning wash. Came back into the living room and he'd peed everywhere! Next thing i hear a fart, and then another one......However it was also accompanied by a huge yellow runny poo! This then mixed in with the wee he was lying in so it's even more runny. Then he's kicking his legs around in it and smiling away looking rather pleased with himself. It took me so long to clean it all off his feet, his bum,his back :yuck:

But on the plus side he slept from between 9pm-9:30pm until 4am! Which was lovely :)
 
Well ladies, I'm going to be on a lot less for the next two weeks. In case you didn't catch it on my Facebook, my wonderful son headbutted my laptop screen so it's out of commission for the next two weeks while the screen is replaced. We have a home computer, but trying to fight my husband for time on it is like trying to wrestle a bear for the last trout in the lake. You might feel it on your fingers for a few seconds, but you'll never hold it and bask in its greatness.

Brandi - Woopsie! I hope the next 2 weeks go quickly, I would be lost without my access to the internet.

Me and the kids have had a great day today, this morning we fed the ducks at the canal, Dylan walked nearly all the way there and back, and used his buggy board :happydance: then after lunch we had a lovely nap on the sofa

wiggler, sounds like an amazing day, glad you convinced dylan to use his buggy board, my toddlers still look at ours like its posessed. Wish we could go out on a walk like that, its still stupid hot here, like walking out into a furnace.

oh and yeah 4th child afterpains are 100% worse than labour pains.

Got an eeg on friday and Eilidhs check is then so trying really hard to rearrange and get her appointment first thing before the heat and they're being really obnoxious about it for some reason:wacko:
 
Hi girls. I love seeing all of these baby pics!

Wild, I obviously love the name Luke, although Luca is nice too.

I'm having a hard time producing enough milk to keep up with my little guy. I've been trying to pump, eat, and drink more but I am not getting much. Luke is satisfied for about 2 hours after nursing both breasts. I have some frozen from last week so I can supplement if needed, but I'd really like to continue pumping and freezing. Hope it gets better soon. Maybe after his growth spurt. :shrug:
 
Sam's eye is constantly oozing green gunge this evening, and I rang the doctors and they cant see him until tomorrow, is it ok to leave it until then? :( xx
 
Should be fine 24/7, keep it clean, but if it gets worse ring the out of hours doctor x
 
24- Should be fine like wiggler said. Josh had this problem too and they gave us some cream to put in it. It took about a week to clear up but it was fine.
 
Wash his eye with cooled boiled water, or sterile water, and cotton wool. One piece of cotton wool per wipe, dont resue any at all wipe from the inside out :) That will be fine until you see the doctor hun :hugs: fantastic to hear he has latched on :) He'll soon be glued to you in no time lol You'll be on here telling us how you couldnt do the weekly shop without a cafe break in the middle to feed lolol.. thats becoming oh so familiar here :rofl:

Bizy sounds like Luke is doing great, George went through a 2 boob phase about then but he'd not even go 2 hours lol

Mummy I hope they move Elidhs appt for you, hard enough for an adult to tolerate that level of heat never mind a lil baby!

Something super magical happened tonight. George was on my knee drifting off to sleep and OH came passed where we were and popped his head in to say hi. He bent down and gave George a kiss on the cheek and said 'wake up for daddy' (he NEVER said that before!) Then as if george recognised his voice he opened his eyes, looked directly at OH and smiled! A proper little smile. Then turned back into me and carried on drifting off to sleep :cloud9: OH and I had tears in our eyes, then he gave me a little kiss and left carried on what ever he was doing before popping in. It was just so lovely!

Im watching Emmerdale just now, omg I need to be pregnant so i can blame these tears on the hormones, so glad no one can see me!
 
24, Eilidh got an eye infection twice in the early weeks, we got some drops. It'll be fine to wait just follow news advice re water and cotton wool:thumbup:

Managed to get the early appointment lol, 9 30 tomorrow morning will find out how LO is getting on.

Ooh new, you want to be pregnant again?:winkwink:
