sorry i have missed quite a lot not been about so much the past few days have been mad!

brandi, i'm sorry to hear about the situation you are in and i think youre doing the right thing, he clearly needs time to sort out his issues before he can be a father or anything else!

sorry to hear there are lots of ill babies. my 2 are still fighting off a cold which they have passed onto me the little monkeys. It's a real horrible achey cold too

do any of you ladies have any experience with infant ezcema? william has it in his hair and its all sore and split open from scratching it. Got the dr's tmrw for him. He has it on his face a bit too and the backs of his knees in the fold

Charlotte, sorry you guys all have the cold Ruaridh has awful flare ups of eczema, horrible itchy bumpy rashes all over his body but particularly his legs. We were advised to only allow him short lukewarm baths every second day and then olive oil right after! You can get emollient creams instead but we were told olive oil and it really did help If its really bad the doctor can give oral steroids in the short term and you can get steroid cream. We've been given antihistamines in the past too. Ruaridh is a bit older than William though so it might be a bit different. Its horrible for them though My boy really struggles, with his autism he always wants to clean himself and he's very quick at getting things he's not meant to, usually with big sis's help

Thanks mummy its sounds like Ruaridh has it worse than William but he is at his head and the back of his legs as soon as he gets the chance! I have heard a lot of people say olive oil so i will try that if the doctor doesn't come up with anything better!
Must be a real nightmare with that and autism as they love everything just so. Poor little guy! Clever though! getting big sister to help him hehe!

The only thing is, is what on earth can they give him to help out his scalp? it looks so bloomin' sore! he has cut himself open on the scalp scratching and gouging at it! and creams and oils just dont work because of his hair.

Really, REALLY sad when your 3 year old says that. I really hope he comes to his senses and gets some help so he can see clearly what he's doing to these kids.

there are special shampoo's they can prescribe hun. Joshua had it when a baby and he was prescribed doublebase gel it cleared in no time hope he gets sorted soon!!

Charlotte I have big sis pegged as the clever one, she's a monkey Can you secure his hands to stop him itching, even just short term? If he's breaking the skin he probably needs the doctors assistance hun, we always had to get Ruaridh in to be seen if it got so bad he was drawing blood. Olive oil is amazing stuff though hun!

Oh can see the tooth coming through as well so im not imagining it
Got an app at drs on the 4th about my bleeding. Dont know what to do. Last few nights iv been literally shaking and feeling like im going to faint Think its the constant bleeding. The PP bleeding with Leo made me stay in bed for the first 2 weeks cos I was so weak from the blood loss and this is just like it Thought it was over this morning but then started again Do I have it taken out (the implant) or go on another pill to see if it stops the bleeding? Advice?
Brandi - god he sounds terrible. That text you spoilered - was he trying to make out you are the one with the problem? Hate people like that! Hope something gets sorted soon

Inge - I had the depo injection which is identical to the implant in the way that it works and the chemicals that they use and i had the same problem, i bled heavily for 3 months with no break from day 1 after having the injection. I stuck with it and had 2 more injections after the first and when the bleeding didn't stop, went back to the GP's whose advice was to take the contraceptive pill on top to stop the bleeding! I thought this was stupid so took the pill and stopped going for the injections. The pill cleared up the bleeding. Then i came of it to TTC and fell pregnant with William. Now i have the prob of the pill NOT stopping the bleeding so had the coil fitted and after 3 months, i have finally stopped the constant spotting and bleeding. Hope that helps a bit!

thanks for the advise on the eczema ladies, hopefully tomorrow i will be able to come on and say they have given him something to stop the itching. I have considered putting scratch mittens on him again to sleep in because its in his sleep he does the most damage. I've cut his nails so short and he still gouges himself!

Brandi thats awful but un-suprising if he has been that awful to live with and the poor kids have seen and heard him at his worst. Sending you lots of hugs

Inge I have no advice but would definitely see a doctor if you are still bleeding and feel so weak

Hope you get something for William hun! scratch mits or socks on his hands my helpo in the short term

Brandi I would personally try and distract the kids from noticing their dad isnt there, speaking about him or asking after him is just going to remind them he isnt there. Hope the situation resolves itself one way or another x

Well he just sent me a text saying "Tell my kids I love them" and now he won't answer the phone or my texts. I called his mom and she said he's there and I told her I just want to make sure he's not going to do anything stupid and she laughed. Great supportive family, eh, but I'm the piece of shit.

Brandi hard as it may seen now, i think for the long run you need to stop messaging him now and let him have the time to reflect, and you reflect also. Take the kids minds off things, just tell them he is at nannys for a holiday break, and if it becomes a permanent thing you can tell them more when the time comes, I dont think texting and calling him is helping atm hun x

Dylan has been awful, tantrumming over the slightest thing, Bethnay is teething so very grumpy. I love them both to bits, but urgh, I want to rest!!!!

Nursery starts on the 10th. I cant wait! dreading the trip there though, me and the kids walked throught the woods/fields and paths at the back of my flat tody and I hurt so bad.
