Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Eilidh went down to 13lb6oz with the RSV, hoping for a big gain when she goes for her check with the developmental pediatrician on the 13th. This wheeze and lurgy is really awful, its been lingering for weeks coming and going and the nappies

:hugs: hopefully it'll leave you guys alone soon enough! forgive me if this was already answered, but have they found out why she doesn't gain much/quickly? there's another mama in a group of mine who's son is 7.5 months old and weighs the same as Eilidh, they're thinking of admitting him to the hospital on wednesday because they're saying he's failing to thrive (he's 13.4 lbs). they did a scan on his poop and said they found traces of blood from a milk protein allergy

ARGH, Dylans banging is out of control! The neighbors downstairs said they could hear him when OH bumped into them and apoligised and its sent me into meltdown again about the damn noise, I am trying my hardest to ignore it today, I already know we wont get in trouble with the HA about it, but I really dont want neighbor troubles again. FFS, why can't we live somewhere where I can just relax :(

Bethany's eating is getting a lot better now and she is starting to drop bottles, but her sleeping at night is a bit worse  Hopefully it will all even out soon. The teeth that are bothering her still aren't through :( Fingers crossed today is the day, they are soooo close.

Whats everyone got planned for 1st birthdays? I am doing what I did with Dylan, got my closest friends and somme family coming over to celebrate with us

Just keep ignoring him wiggler, he knows you will do what he wants to keep him quiet, and he will quickly learn and give up when you don't.

Well yesterday Sam started crawling, and going from crawling/tummy back to sitting. :yipee: xx

24/7- Go sam! I wish Josh would start crawling. You can see he can do the legs and arms just not at the same time!

wiggler- Try not to stress. Does he just bang when he's having a tantrum? Would a naughty step or something help? Like on super nanny. Josh has started sleeping worse too. He was up 3 times last night! Feels like having a newborn again. He's not interested in food or milk.

Got a call from the estate agents today and our offer has been accepted and they want us to complete within 21 days so fingers crossed no one puts in a higher offer!

Leo is in a grumpy mood today. His sharp fang is really pushing through today. Hes got a home made sweet potato cottage pie later for lunch then some fresh cod fishcakes

:hi:

Im so sorry to gloat, but george slept last night :happydance: I was soooooooooooooooooooo sleep deprived how some of you lasted months is beyond me, weeks of broken sleep has been enough for me but george slept 7.30-9.15pm then 11.15pm-7.30am! I did worry in that 2 hours that he wouldnt go back off he was constantly Bfing and pissy but it was so worth a hellish 2hrs for a full nights sleep! i really needed it lol

I feel better, though Joshua started being  this morning butsays he is ok now, and my dad was  again but feels better now, and my mum is moaning lol but nothing new! she liked her Pandora charm  and she got a little spoilt so it put her in a better mood lol

24 go sam!!!!!!! :happydance: he is such a clever little boy!!!

heyy love the video - get some on of the girlies!!! lol Glad bethy is feeling better, and grrrr @ your OH!

Harvey sounds like a busy day! Hope you are all well there :)

Milos ava is so dinky bless her! Her weight gain will be slower as she is so active hun! She's adorable!

Hows Elidh this morning? Starting to feel better i hope! George loves sitting in a highchair bashing too, they are cute!!

I think George wants to get moving, but no way can lol he is bouncing, on the floor, in your arms, anywhere and everywhere his legs just bounce ha ha ha I thought maybe the way he was going he'd bum suffle, but nope he face plants oops! lol he is getting very quick and turning on the floor though he can do a full 180 in seconds lol

You'll have to post some pics

Go Sam!!!! :happydance:

Meow - Yay for the house!!

Dylan either heel kicks the floor, or walks into the hallway, headbutts the door then heel kicks the floor when he is going off on one, this is also done with a LOT of high pitched screaming. I have done well ignoring him today and he is already a lot better. Why can't I get it into my head that we aren't going to go through the same crap here?!

Bethany isn't crawling, she doesn't even try anymore, she can get around pretty fast by dragging herself about :haha: I am so glad she isn't advanced like Dylan was, I like the fact if I put her down she is 99% certain to stay in that rough area :haha:

We have just had lunch, pasta and the last of the meatball sauce. it was delish, Bethany is still eating hers, she loves it! I tried preloading a fork for her a few times and she is pretty good with that. She is eating it too neatly though, I wanna see sauce all over her face!!

Heyy- is hubby out of the dog house yet?

New- go George on the movement:happydance: way to go on the sleeping george:sleep: I bet you feel human today:winkwink:

Milos- its great when you can switch the toys off:cloud9: I try to buy ones with different noises, especially harveys toys, hardly any squeaks but I've got a farm going on here, all his toys make the animals noise lol cow, pig, dinosaur, chicken, camel, dog, sheep etc

Brandi- itll feel really bad at the moment but once you make a decision and things start moving it will feel right and you'll feel in control soon enough!:flower:

Inge- :hugs: to Leo, I hope his tootypegs come in soon, ooh I bet he enjoys his tea:baby:

Meow- I've got everything crossed for you:winkwink:

I'm watching Aaron play with all the Xmas cards on the hearth/lounge floor, he's in his element:cloud9: can't be arsed to get up and put them back for the upteenth time:wacko:

I'm taking my decs down new years day, can't wait, feel like Scrooge if I do it any sooner, plus I've got some of hubby's family coming new year for a few drinks so will seem more festive still if I leave them up:winkwink:

I've made another (3rd) appointment for my bloods taken to see if my thyroids ok, I hope I don't miss this one:shrug::blush:

New- So glad you got some sleep, love! and good that your mom is in a better mood, use it to your advantage and ask for stuff! :haha:

Meow- oh my gosh- does that mean you'd be moving in 21 days?

24- :happydance: Sam!

Wiggler- I agree- let him tantrum. IGNORE HIM, put him in his room where he has no audience. He'll give it up very quickly- and when you or OH sees the neighbors ownstairs, Thank them for their patience while you transition Dylan and give them a BRIEF description of the old neighbors and the terror it has put into Dylan, I bet they tell you no problem

Harvey- as a matter of fact, he IS out of the dog house :winkwink: he came in last night all grins and snuggles and it reminded me of WHY I want him to get out with his friends and spend some non stress time away from home and work- I just plain like him better! And he got up with us at 5 this morning and laid in bed playing with the girls til after 5:30, at which time he got UP, changed them both, then made me a cup of tea while I got them situated on the floor :cloud9: Now, THERE's the thoughtful man I married!

 the girls are playing on the floor and I'm going back and forth from down with them to up in my chair (Have to keep tea up and away) but I just looked own and Rochell had crawled off the play blanket and gotten the dogs rawhide chew bone and was gnawing away

CAS was just here and we set up a plan with goals over the next 6 months. This includes individual and family counselling for both of us, and attending playgroups with the kids. I can't get into too much detail, but it pretty much holds the marriage together for the next 6 months, at least, and is in BOTH of our best interest to follow it.

Hope you guys are all doing well!! I hope to be back here and more positive soon! Thanks for all the support!

hey- we could move in 21 days but i want to make sure we get it before we give notice on the house we rent now, dont want the sale to fall through and us to end up homeless. It needs some work too before we move in so we can stay here for another few weeks and get that done.

I'm glad you are getting the help you want and deserve

Milos, yeah we are 99.9% sure what is causing Eilidhs growth to be so slow and Anjas as well, its a condition called cleidocranial dysplasia she needs to have a bone scan to look at her clavicles, which is on the 10th jan but her geneticist is adamant. She does have failure to thrive though and that label sucks but gets her the therapies she receives. She doesnt have any milk allergies, we had that tested at the GI doc. Is there any reason why Avas gain is so slow?:hugs:

New, so so jealous of the sleep!!:happydance: Go George! Hope Your dad and Joshua feel better:hugs:

Inge hope Leo feels better:hugs:

24 go Sam!!:happydance:

Meow really hope you get the house smoothly:hugs:

Wiggler:hugs: I hope you can relax hun, hope he's calmed down for you now hun:hugs: Are they nice enough people to go and talk to and try to get on side while you work through Dylans tantrums?

Harvey, hope you make it for the bloods:thumbup::dohh: Babies love paper and card for some reason lol.

Eilidh, Anja and hubby were restless all night so I've had crappy sleep. Little miss is a bit less wheezy today, so her meds must be kicking in:thumbup: more just when laying down and bfing. Eilidh hasnt figured out moving yet but her sitting is improving a lot and shes almost able to get from sitting to on belly without faceplanting. I think she'll do more when the lurgy goes.

Heyy hope you had a good night:hugs:

Brandi, how are you this morning?:hugs:

Heyy you sound much more positive:thumbup:

Brandi, whats CAS? Glad you're getting help hun, must be a relief:hugs:

Children's Aid Society. I'm not their biggest fan, but they are the only way I can keep Mike in the kids' lives.

Heyy sounds liek your Oh certainly has got himself out of the doghouse :) at Elles snacks though ha ha

brandi hope it helps you all xxx

Wiggler try not to worry, ignoring is the best way forward here, and you'll see a HUGE improvementment when he starst nursery!

meow, wow!! Good luck for the sale hun :hugs:

Joshua is now vomitting, and mum is sleepy poorly but not sick, but the rest of the house is ok, *touch wood* but george is the only one 100% and Ihave been fine since yeaterday morning, just a bt queezy until afternoon.
