Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I've never tried dry shampoo before, how does it work?

Anyone got any movie suggestions for a date night? Has to be something I can but on the tv so out on dvd:flower:

Not sure mummy as my hubby can get the films that's on at the cinema - ask me no questions & I will tell you no lies:blush:

mummy- doc hasn't said anything about what will happen depending on the xray results.

harvey- :hugs: sounds terrible! we only had a glucose scare once. a few hours after she was born her blood sugar levels were really low. so they had to draw more blood to send off to the lab before i could feed her. Milo gave us a scare with oxygen, as he wasn't breathing properly (didn't cry for the first few minutes after birth and needed suction). he had meconium in his fluids. love the pic of Aaron and Harvey. 31in is tall!! Milo is 32.5 maybe 33 inches. lol.

new- :hugs: :hugs: sorry work isn't going well. what's giving you trouble? not adjusting to being away from the bairns?

heyy- hope you can get some answers and your AFs sorted :flower:

wud- i can only hope she doesn't have to go through it again. i'm unsure about a #3

Not been able to catch up, my internet is going crazy tonight.

When Dylan goes into meltdown there is no way to get him out of it without riding it out unless we give in to him (not an option, thats what got us into this mess), and that doesn't always work, and its worse when he is tired, we had a major meltdown just before bed, we haven't had one that severe in a good long while, it broke my heart, he was so upset and teary and there was nothing we could do to make him happier  I have spent hours and hours looking online for things to ease toddler tantrums, how to get toddlers out of meltdowns you name it I've tried it, but the best thing is just leaving him to it, it breaks my hear though, I just want to hug him.

With my knee, I found out yesterday that my mum has athritis in the same knee and its stupid but I'm scared to go to the docs in case they say I have it too, we have a lot of the same symptoms. OH has changed his week around next week but I'm getting hi to get a day off if he can to go with me to the docs.

We found out today that people have already moved into our old flat, and apparently they are horrible, I hope they have a thing for ceiling banging and loud music

Hpoe everyone is well x x x

harvey- I have a giant too! Josh is about 1/2 inches smaller though. He is higher than the arms on my sofa when stood up. He's in 9-12 month trousers and they basically fit fine.

I'm gona stop saying I want a little un as every time I say that he seems to shoot up:dohh:

Aarons in 9-12 months trousers n dungarees too, tops is fine, a few 3-6, 6-9 & 9-12:thumbup:

What size nappies are all the babies in:shrug: aarons been in size 4/4+ for months (15lbs+)

I'll try & measure Livi tomorrow she's quite tall for a girly

For those measuring, I put Aaron on his changing mat with his head below the padded bit and I place my hand on top of his head with my fingers touching the mats line then press his leg flat and put me finger where the bottom of his heel was then measure!

Bethany is in size 3, but will be moving up soon, I have put her in size 9-12 clothing since we moved as I unpacked them first  they fit her quite well though, just the trousers are a bit long.

Bethany has been amazing today, pulling herself up and even cruising!! I don't want my little baby to grow up so fast

Milos Im ok with the kids, and george is settling in well, he even played with little frinds today :happydance: but my management is all f*cked up, I work in home care, have to make numerous house calls all day to elderly and or disabled adults, all vulnerable and mostly dependant BUT they expecting us to be in 2 villages at once etc and when i questioned it last week I was told 'the girls make it work' I have tried it every which way and the only way to make it work is to cut peoples visits short - which they have to pay for out of their own pocket! Today I was at end of my tether, not only did I spend the entire day chasing my tail, but my shift should have ended at 12.45, and another girls start at the same house at 12.30, so basically we do a hand over and they stay on i go home - she didnt get to me until 1,15 because of the new set up and the rota didnt make sense to her, but georges nursery finished at 1pm so i was 20 minutes late for him! I am fuming - Im going to insist I get to speak to a manager next week AND I want to go out on shadow shifts (training shifts) and find out how these girls make impossible shifts work because if we dont stand up for ourselves they will keep expecting the impossible, but they messed my boy around today so im totally not happy at all!

See this makes no sense, Anja at around 29, maybe 30in is in 12-18m is it because she stands straight? Also with her being potty trained its a nightmare to find panties for her small enough, so if you have a petite baba keep that in mind lol. Eilidh is just about 25in and in 0-3 or 3-6 in babygros and size 2 nappies:flower:

Harvey, Ruaridh grew like a weed till 10m then stopped:flower: I need to know how your hubby gets his movies now:dohh:

Hope its all ok Milos:hugs:

Wiggler:hugs: Best to suck it up and ask the doctor, I know its scary but you may need some early help if there is something up:hugs:

Sounds scary milo! Aaron looked fine even with all these issues and that's what confused us. It's horrible seeing your bairn having their blood taken, Aaron had to have it done several times a day for about a week, in the end he
didn't even stir when they done it:cry:

george is in size 3, but size 4s do ok too!

When I measured george last I closed the door and put his head against the door then rested his legs flat lol

New, I can't believe they are still messing you around! They knew when you was coming back and this is really unreasonable, and making you late to pick up George is way out of line, are you going to complain? Big hugs hun, I hope things get easier at work soon.:hugs:

Hope them upstairs get their comeuppance! Have you heard anything from you reporting them for benefit fraud?

I remember Ruaridh having so many heal pricks in NICU all the skin on his heel came away :( :hugs:

That's shocking new:growlmad: I'd have it out with them, you've got nowt to lose as you can tell them to stick their job up their arse if it continues! Now I know why my auntie who's disabled has trouble with the girls turning up at the wrong times and not spending their paid for time at her house.

Ava is still in a size 2 nappy :haha: Milo is in size 5 wears 2t/24m pants. can fit 18m,2t/24m or 3t shirts depending on the brand.

new- oh gosh. i could just imagine how hard it would be to jump into an old job after they changed it around :hugs: hopefully they will approve the shadowing so you can get the hang of how they're doing it.
