Metformin and Provera together?

My Dr. just gave me a prescription for Metformin, Provera, and Clomid.
My question is i just started Met about a week and 1/2 ago I'm working my way up to 3 pills a day right now I'm at 2 a day. One with breakfast and one with dinner. Should I start taking my provera with my dinner Met pill?? I was hesitant to start the provera with the metformin at first bc I didn't know if the Metformin was going to give me side effects. For those of you that have taken both of these meds together how did you take them?

Hey there!

I've taken Metformin and Provera together and didn't have any problems. The side effects I experienced only came from the Met, I had pretty bad gastrointestinal problems. But, the Provera didn't affect me at all, except for bringing on the witch! Granted, everyone is different, but I think you'd be fine. Good luck!

i took met for about 2 weeks maybe 3 and still didnt start so i got prover and took that for 5 days and then 3 days later AF came so it did work. then the next month it came on its own. i took 1 in the morning and 1 at night then i took the provera right before bed because i got bad headaches from it
