Micro scooter question

I want to buy dd a maxi micro scooter for Xmas, but they are a small fortune. She has a y glider from last summer and is getting too big for it though it's been used soooo much. I was toying with the idea of the y glider xl but anything I've read says the maxi micros last forever and are easy to get parts for. Does anyone have a micro scooter and are they worth the money?? Thanks!

I can't comment on the maxi but both my children have the mini micro scooter and they are definitely worth the money. Both of ours look in very good condition considering they are used so much. I have already decided that next year we will buy DD the maxi version
