It must depend on the surgery but mine try a doppler from the 1st booking app. I wouldnt have believed it as i had read this was not routine in all surgeries. I ony discovered this was the case as my SIL and her friend were both with the MWs i will be seeing. A HB can be heard at 8 weeks, if not slightly sooner in some cases. I guess i will find out when i see her next week!
