I'm so sorry to hear this, if bubs passed away at that stage things are more likely to progress quickly naturally than if it had happened later (with me it took 6 weeks from when bubs died (9w 0d) to actual natural miscarriage (15w 4d); but I only found out the day before what had happened, so my wait really wasn't long at all). There are no guarantees though and it can take some weeks. Like you I had spotting throughout my three successful pregnancies; in fact it was far worse than the spotting I had in the pregnancy I miscarried so my midwife said it is nothing to worry about. It is a massive shock and such a bad time of year for it; as well
